To the Sports Staff of WBRZ.....Congratulations

You and your video have made national news, and you are getting the much needed exposure you crave. I saw you made Deadspin today.

Unfortunatly, you interpretation and reporting has now challenged the integrity of a good man. Is Les Miles a flawed Football coach? YES INDEED. Does he deserve to be called a LIAR? No.

Miles is gesturing what looks like a spiking motion, but he is doing it seconds after Tolliver makes the catch. It could be argued that he is saying Tolliver is down, considering that Ole Miss players are grabbing the ball. Jordan Jefferson is still 30 yards from the ball!!!

Miles and his staff had about 5-10 real time minutes to screw that game up and lose it, which they did. Your staff had about 4-5 hours to analyze that video, and you screwed that up.

Shoddy, shoddy reporting of the "facts". You now join your cross town rivals at Channel 9 with the whole "LSU to the Rose Bowl" story.

The funny thing about this debate is that it is not the reason Miles is an idiot, it is an example. The real damage to Miles was done for a minute and half prior to that play. Just bad coaching. Also, the greater the last second debate, the more overlooked is the prior minute.

Should he be called a piece of shite then

"I suggested we should run the ball" You are the fricking head coach, if you dont like a play that is called, you change it

Then he threw JJ under the bus "I thought we had a QB that could handle the situation"

him

this is the point, people!!

The last 9 seconds were an out of control, debacle all RESULTING from the poor coaching the 2 minutes before!! Starting with the play calling on the 2 point conversion...

Film dont lie, I don't know if he "lied", was confused/shell shocked or just trying to deflect in order to buy more time to think w/o thinking about what he was saying, but he called for the ball to be spiked. Anyone who doesn't see that is just being ignorant or delusional

so how do you defend miles for his stupid onside kick in the first half after you just went up 17-9 that gave ole miss a gift wrapped touchdown ..

how do you defend miles for butchering the play clock in the second half and pissing away what proved to be valuable time outs ..

how do you defend miles for not having the balls to override his ecclectic OC and run the ball three plays and kick a FG ...

how do you defend miles for letting 16 precious seconds tick off the clock before calling a timeout ...

how do you defend miles for not having the FG unit ready to immediately run on the field ..

how do you defend miles for having the math skills of a first grader thinking you can clock the football with one second left ..

I'll agree and tell ya what. Someone who tries isn't living in reality.

Media types are very often little people who achieve little in life, but take great satisfaction in bringing down other who have...this rush to run this story, without facts, or even asking Miles what he was doing, is typical of 2 bit hacks trying to make a name for themselves at the expense of others....WWL did the same thing...only thing worse than these bums is our 'fans' stampeding to destroy the man they worshiped 2 years ago..

Miles made some BIG mistakes in this game, and there is no excuse for that, but to rip his character is more of a reflection on the character of those attacking him than his..

As bad of a job he did in this game, I am MUCH more embarrassed for the 'fans' of LSU than our coach or team.

So it is ok for him to throw the 19 yo JJ under the bus?

didn't miles say he did not give jj the clock it call? if so, he didn't lie. he gave it to tt and lafell. maybe once he realized that he had only 1 sec, he changed his mind about it.

who cares......he should have had a play called during the timeout.
