They have gotten faster and more athletic. The Wolfberger girl is invisible. USC is theelir version of Bama FB...mentally beats them and then physically
How can the team not guard the Po-Po girl and Tessa they killed them last year and same this year.

I've never watched a single women's basketball game where making layups hasn't been a problem.

One loss, to the #2 team, on the road, and the rant experts who just watched their first game of the season are quick to jump in and tell us all what's wrong. fricking idiots.

Not the first game and was in person for last years games. They are afraid and too much finesse...Take to hoop and put the elbows out

Morrow plays above her size.

6'1 and leads the country in rebounding. She is a dawg but she needs help inside

I was thinking the exact same thing. Lots of comments on the board after the game by people who clearly, have not seen this team play all season.

Watch alot of the games past 3 years..still have no outside shooters, even layups are a challenge for this team as USCe is mentally in their heads.
Like I said earlier compared to last years cement showed team they are 3x quicker, look more in shape but can't shoot.
Makes it hard vs a team that's better athletically and has some shooters.

I had never watched women’s basketball till Kim Mulkey got here. First thing I noticed were a lack of basic fundamentals. Making layups is hard for women.

They are not afraid to make contact. But when they do nothing is called, but they call phantom touch fouls on us. Even the announcer said a couple of times where was that foul?

Did you even watch the game? They kept trying to drive the paint and make contact on players who were 5-6 inches taller. They had 11 shots blocked. Granted about 7-8 were uncalled fouls.

Well, clearly you haven't watched much of this team. No outside shooters? Hell, NOBODY was hitting outside shots in this game because of the defense. LSU shot 30% and SC shot 37%. BOTH teams shot below 20% from the 3 pt line.

The team can't shoot? You do know that for the season, as a team, LSU was shooting 49% from the field, right? How'd they manage that if they "can't shoot"?

How about we just call it what it was...............................a tough defensive battle by both teams tonight.

Frick the one women’s game I wanted to watch all year and forgot how early it started

Haven’t watched them this year but reading this boards critiques all year seem to be right that we don’t have the bigs to win a championship. Box score shows 11 blocks to 2 which could’ve made the difference in the final score. Guessing we couldn’t shoot over their bigs today since we shot under 30% for first time this year

Pao pao had 6pts and no 3s and only 2 assists. So tell me again how she killed us. Tessa had 9pts and 3 boards. Feagin and Edwards caused problems….but LSU defended SC at an elite level….bottom line is we turned the ball over and two of our big 3 had off nights.

It really is that simple. AND, Flau'je was guarding Pao Pao most of the game. So, even though she didn't have her normal offensive game, her defense, while she was in, was very good.
