tonight is the highest team assist total

Quite a contrast from the men's team, where you need a microscope to locate any assists at all!

The second half might half been the best overall half LSU women’s basketball has played under Kim. Maybe outside of the national championship game when the bench was draining 3s.

Kim is elite at having the team playing its best basketball at the right time. They would have been in the final 4 last season if Reese hadn’t been injured.

People always forget that. In that elite eight game against Iowa, if Angel had not re-injured her ankle in the second quarter, LSU would've won even with Clark finishing with 40 pts. She was absolutely DOMINATING the paint in that game, up to the point the re-injury occurred.

If they can keep playing like the last two games , they will have as good as chance as anyone to win it all.

I think they will take care of NC State , idk if they can handle UCLA size , assuming the Bruins get by Ole Miss.

Anyone know the last time LSU had 29+ team assists in a game?

I checked the last 3 seasons and the 29 assists tonight is the highest team assist total.

Program NCAA tournament record.

I'm really hoping that Ole Miss upsets UCLA. But even if they don't I think we've got a good shot to beat them. We may need to play some zone defense against them to do it though.
