Way Too Early Schedule Prediction for 2020

Our football schedule for 2020 seems to be okay. Not great, but not terrible.
UTSA - W
Texas - W
Rice (in Houston for some reason) - W
Ole Miss - W
Nicholls - W
@ Florida - L
@ Arkansas - W
Mississippi State - W
BYE WEEK
Alabama - W
South Carolina - W
@ Auburn - L
@ Texas A&M - W
I see us going 10-2 with a floor of 9-3 and a ceiling of 12-0. As we all know, it heavily depends on Myles Brennan, how big of a step back our offense takes, how our linebackers step up with the departures of both Queen and Phillips, and what the defense overall looks like under the new DC.
I think we'll get bit in our first true road game @ Florida. They're shaping up to have a great team. Also, I think we may fall on the road against Auburn, but we could just as easily win that game and lose to Alabama, Texas, or God forbid Texas A&M.
What do you guys think?

We lose 2 out of Texas, Florida, and Alabama at worst. It's possible we only lose one of those and if that one is to Florida, we play Florida in Atlanta.

Really don’t think we lose to AU next year

Until someone stops us, I'm sticking with 15-0 again.

If I was offered a million dollars to predict the 2020 LSU football record within one game of the actual record, I would say 9-3.
Texas, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Texas A&M could all be losses.

Alabama and Florida are the two really tough games. 10-2 would be my guess.

I think @Florida, Alabama, @Auburn and @A&M (i know) are the hardest 4 (no shite sherlock).
Of those four, i think we go 3-1. For me, I think the inexperience bites us. Let's hope the L is to Florida in that case, so that we can meet up with them/UGA in the SECCG.

We just had the best season ever, I honestly don't care if we go 0-12 next year.

I’m sorry but we are not losing to AM. They are trash.

I don't see us losing to Texas at home. I think Florida, Bama, Auburn, and A&M are all 50/50 games. The other 7 should be wins for sure. I would put the over/under at 10-2.

AU lost a lot on defense and I'm taking Brennan and our WRs over Nix

agree...
and Im sorry but unless TAMU changes QB's they aint got a shot... just hoping someone pulls Elko away from Jimbo... that Mofo should get a head job soon..
Florida will be very good next season... Bama will be good....
Florida will beat Geogia next year... look for TEnn to make a little noise in the east as well, if they can get decent QB play they could upset some folks.. was hoping that Wake Forrest Qb would go there.. id like to see TEnn good again...

So you don't care if LSU craps away all the recruiting momentum of this year?

Nah, nothing will ever top this season.
Fact of the matter is, we're going to drop off a bit. You don't lose that many key players/coaches and not drop off. We'll be anywhere between 8-4 and 10-2 next year.

Aubbie is losing that bad arse d line. Don’t fret little one

Since conference realignment and the dawn of the SECCG in 1992, LSU has played Aub & Fla on the road and Ala. at home during even years. In those even years, LSU has gone 13-29 against those 3 teams. During even years, LSU has NEVER won all 3, and has only managed 2-1 twice (2004 & 2010). That's a loosing record in 12 of 14 even years against those three.
As a result, LSU has NEVER won the West outright and has NEVER appeared in the SECCG during an even year. This includes FIVE two-loss seasons - a record good enough to win a national championship in an odd-year.
Fans don't realize how exceedingly difficult LSU's even-year schedule is compared to everyone else. I'm not even sure LSU's 2019 team - generally considered the best ever in all of football - would make the championship game in an even year.
