9-3, with losses at Texas, at Miss St and at Bama
Posted on 11/26/18 at 8:19 pm to Green Chili Tiger
11-1. Only loss to Bama.

12-1. Make playoffs
Far easier schedule
We are a young good team

See no reason it will be any better than this 9-3 if the O&E connection is still in tact. Now if by chance there happens to be a surprise upgrade this off season at OC then 10-2 at worse should be expected.

Very manageable schedule. 17-18 returning starters. Senior QB. Elite RB duo.
White, Williams, Brumfield, Tracy, Moreau, and Battle are starters who are surely gone.
If history is any indicator, we'll lose several of our starting juniors as well.
Feheko, Alexander, Lawrence, Fulton are definitely possibilities.
Even Sullivan, Anderson, Divinity, Magee, and Lewis could leave but I'd say probably only one WTF type departure.
Maybe you plugin Stevens, K. Thomas, and Stingley.
I'll give you upgrades at RB.
But LB and possibly DL could be big weaknesses.
OL is not good until it proves otherwise.
I don't see how 11-1 is close to a possibility next year. Unless we realize some potential that we didn't know was there and we get some serious studs to start out of the gate (outside of RB).
I'm going with 8-4..

You’re about an idiot with 4 losses.

Anything less than 10 wins is a failure yet again

I thought we predicted that we would win last Saturday night in Texas? We ain't good at predicting one day from now, how can we predict a season or 2 away?

Imagine Death Valley on Saturday night one year from now. Yes, it will be personal.

We lose to bama Florida and Texas.
9-3
9-3

8-4 or 9-3 (which is a failure)
At this point, a NY6 bowl is the program goal, which I still don't think we make next year.
LSU isn't beating Alabama with coach faux at the helm. And if we can't beat Alabama, we can't win division or conference.

Have a hard time picking a loss besides Bama. Schedule seems to set up nicely. Not sure what Texas has coming back. I think they are extremely overrated this year though. I'll say 10-2.
You people are hilarious. We are gonna beat Florida, Texas, A&M and State?

This might be the easiest schedule we have had in a while.
What’s the latest on Stidham? Pro or no? Who is their 2nd string guy?
That Texas game will tell us if we’ll be floor 10-2 or floor 8-4.
As long as our defense doesn’t fall apart we should beat State, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Vandy. Vandy might just be the toughest of those. (Going on a hunch rather than facts) Also knowing State and Ole Piss lost their QBs.
Toss up games are all at home. Circled A&M game. Auburn my finally fall apart. Mullen always scares me.
Again Texas is the big barometer game. Could lose and still be undeafeated in SEC headed into Bama.

Is this supposed to inspire us, kinda glass half full to me. Too many nega tigers on this board. Need to quit watching MSNBC.

Honestly i think 11-1 is doable. Should be in the playoffs.
That said I’ll go ahead and brace myself for 9-3.

Why is everyone so worried about Miss St? Their defense won’t be nearly as good.
And why is Thompson all of a sudden a huge upgrade. If he was he would have played over Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald couldn’t pass but he was big/strong and relatively fast.
Only part that slightly worries me is that it’s on th road. If we can run the ball on them we should be ok.
I’m hoping for a more spread offense next year. O alluded to it before that he wants to be a spread team. Saw flashes at times.
I’d say 65%-75% or so of the play calls this year we’re good.
The entire UGA game was pretty good. Wasn’t flashy but got the job done. Got up and kept kicking FGs. Defense shut them down. Not to many risks. Burrow running the ball kept them honest.
A&M game has some great calls even though the first couple drives stalled. (Threw on first down though just couldn’t execute the run)
Sometimes it comes down to execution.
Bama game was awful but again how much is execution?
Execution starts with OLine and we all know how bad we were the 2nd half of the season.
Also, the non conference games were meh but we should win on talent alone in those games.
Get better in trenches and get more pressure from Chaisson and with Stevens emergence and the return of everyone who should return defense could be better next year.
ETA: I know TLDR
