Most likely win to least likely

Wins
ULM
McNeese
C Michigan
Arkansas
At Miss St.
At UCLA

Could go either way
At Kentucky
Auburn
Florida
At Ole Miss
Texas A&M

Loss - just not there yet - 2022 should be ready for them
At Alabama

Best case 11-1
Worst 6-6
Likely 10-2 or 9-3

Who knows after watching the 2020 season.

I’ll say 9-3

Lose to Bama, om or moo, and fla or auburn.

Florida loses a lot, plus we get them at home. That SHOULD be a win.

Auburn at home is likely a win.

Bama very likely a loss. A&M a tossup. Ole Miss on the road will be tricky.

9-3 should be the floor. It's a very manageable schedule. 10-2 would probably be my official guess, at this moment. I don't think the 2021 team will win the West.

I think we lose to ole miss and go 11-1 but beat georgia again for the sec title and the #1 seed in cfp.

Who we lose to?

Trying to predict win/loss record based solely on adding up each head-to-head matchup will almost always overestimate the record for good teams and underestimate the record for bad teams.

If you are a 14-point favorite in 6 separate games, you’re statistically more likely to go 5-1 than 6-0 because 14-point favorites still lose about 15% of the time.

Even in 2019, the difference between 12-0 and 9-3 was only 15 points.

Thoughts?

I hope you are right but.

We are coming off 5-5 with last 2 wins giving up 1100+ yards 80 + points. Needing an idiot shoe toss, an LSU record longest in history FG, a missed FG and 11 turnovers including 2 pick 6 to win those two games.

Not to mention we have no coordinators yet with only 1 staff member on the D side of the ball. A D that gave up near 500 yards a game.

That’s not usually a recipe for 11-1.

Lol, it's really not way too early to predict how we will do next season bc of the amount of players we have returning and we know what we have at qb for sure. I think we are going to be very good and deep with experience everywhere. Then, we have another great recruiting class to fill in and establish even more depth and prob fill the couple of starting spots we have open on our roster. We have a shite ton of talent returning even before this incoming freshman class that all got instrumental experience last season in big wins both at home and on the road in a tough environment (I know ben hill griffin wasn't close to being full, but it was a tough road game at night and in bad weather conditions with florida playing for their playoff lives) against a good team who ended up winning the sec east and giving bama a game in ATL. Closing the season with a win vs a pretty good ole miss team also is great for our morale going into the off season. They know they can win and compete with the better teams in the sec and proved that despite our roster problems and all of the youthful players we had to depend on. I see us going no worse than 10-2 next season with loss to bama and one other somewhere at worst. We will be back to form.

Big issue with your thoughts is that Bama just somehow plugs and plays at the RB and WR position. They will have studs step up.

It really depends on who we hire in the following weeks.

Keeping our current O-lineman and D-lineman is huge for us.
