It's only on the radar this month (if even that much). It may resurface after bowl game depending on outcome.
Respectfully disagree
If in the bowl game and then again in the Wisky game the O is totally predictable and one dimensional and we scrape by as favorites, the football talking heads nationally will be on it.
When Schad's story hit, here was the response:
OMG The Mad Hatter!!
.778
Natl championship
Quirky
Loves LSU
NFLU
The whole country was shocked that we'd consider firing Miles.
Awareness has now been raised by guys like Pollack, Booger and Palmer who actually watch LSU that it wasn't about a 3 game losing streak after 7-0 and "Les can't beat Bama"
If nothing changes by the end of next year we'll have had an entire season of the narrative being:
Uninventive, predictable O
Undisciplined, unfocused team
LSU STILL just lacks a QB
Bert is LSUs daddy
6 in a row to Nick
Miles isn't untouchable
I hope Miles makes some changes to the O, reels in this recruiting class and goes undefeated in 2016.
But if it's more of the same I'm glad the awareness has been raised that the trend is down and Les is accountable.

Way for Les Miles to unite LSU fanbase
Find Doc Brown, get in the time machine, go back and win on 01/09/2012...
There is a very vocal segment of our fanbase that will NEVER forgive him for that game. If it was to any other opponent maybe, but to lose in that manner to Alabama & Saban on that stage is something that Les Miles will never be able to correct.

Promise changes in Offensive & deliver.
Resounding victory against Wisconsin in 2016 Season opener.
That is the list he should have hung in is office, looking to check each off... but it isn't happening.
Lost most bowls in past 5 years, offense will always be this way - he will not hire a QB coach to develop our talent, and he might not even fire his buddies.

That was a horrible loss for sure, but I appreciated that team for the best LSU season I've witnessed in my life.
The Mett/Juice/OBJ 2013 season gave me hope that we were back on track.
I've never been a Miles hater at all, but I've lost most of my confidence in him the last 2 seasons.
Like I said, hopefully we kill it next year.

It might help some if he wins it in a dominating fashion like the old days.

Nope. Give up the offense and hire a young coordinator who is hungry. Oh and get rid of BDP

Maybe if he goes public and says he will not be involved in playcalling going forward may work. Whether he keeps cam or hired a new OC. It's kaotic around Lsu. Katrina was a bad time and although u can't compare a tragedy to what's transpired the past month it has still been a kaotic mess and miles has stepped up in times like this.

Correct. And the vast majority of them, in spite of what they say or would have you believe, didn't attend LSU and don't regularly attend football games.

I think we are saying the same thing in a different way. My point is that all this "chatter" will not be continuous from now through next year (national media speaking). On the Rant, I'm sure it will be.
The Mile's story will be picked up depending on next year's record. If a great season, the national media will say how they cannot believe LSU almost fired Miles and the media that said look at trends and not the past will be ridiculed. If Miles has a horrible season, the media that was looking at trends and not the past will say, "I told you so."
But for now, Miles will not be a story, except here and maybe a bit after the bowl game.

The fact people were openly speculating about his job for three weeks because of calculated leaks was a slap in the face to him.
If they wanted to make a change, they should have handled it the right way. Keep it quiet until you have something in stone, then do it quickly, cleanly and decisively. LSU fans on either side of the Miles issue could have found solace in that.
There was no keeping it quiet because everyone with eyes speculated on whether the coach should stay.

Yes, that would do it, but Miles will never change and never get out of the OC kitchen. I've been hoping for this for years now, and Cam was my last hope he would change and let the OC have control.
If you listen to what he said when he was on the "hot seat" before the aTm game it was: he doesn't listen. When times get tough he buckles in and "gets to work" with gameplanning, etc. I was like nooooo, that's what we don't want you to do!
It will be the same ole shite until he gets fired. I would also take an announcement that next year will be his last and that he will retire/resign, and that we will have time to hire a good coach -- but I know he will never do that and we will have to fire him.

Some people would rather LSU go 0-12 than see Miles succeed. Pathetic
