Win Bowl Game

Come out in next 30 days on Coaching decisions/changes (if any).

Be adamant about getting this program back on track & how it will be done.

Promise changes in Offensive & deliver.

Resounding victory against Wisconsin in 2016 Season opener.

Impossible now.

The only way the fanbase unites is when he is gone.

This thing went way too far, was at the point of no return. A lot of people thought he was gone and were excited. The fact that he came back was a slap in the face to a lot of people.

People are gonna pissed till he leaves.

There needs to be an emphasis on the QB. The business as usual won't do it for me. Need to bring in a great developer for the passing game. It seems to me we just never had the type pass plays that pick a part defense and get into their open zones. It's always either pass left pass right and throw a bomb for the receiver to run under. One would think the way defense stack the box on us we would have a lot more areas to attack than we do.

Win games with a passing game that looks like Mett 2013.

Can I be added in this camp. For all my griping over the years about the offense under Miles, I never really felt that he was about to be fired so never entertained that thought. The last two weeks, right or wrong, had everyone including Miles believing he was gone. I fully admit to being excited about the new direction the program was heading. Then when it didn't happen I crashed.

Sorry, not sorry.

Resign or win a national title in 2016. Nothing else will unite the fan base.

Miles could go 14-0 next year and half of this board would still want him gone.

I was as ready to see Miles move on as anyone, but I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and hope that, maybe, he now sees that the money is there to put his arse in the road, which I think will happen if we see the same shite next year. As someone said in another thread, Les is a very hard-headed and stubborn man, but I don't think he's stupid(at least I hope not)! He has had a serious reality check and now has the opportunity to swallow his pride and do what needs to be done to get the offense rolling. I guess this all remains to be seen, huh?

With that being said, I think he is going to have to open up the checkbook big-time to get someone to come in with the risk involved in job security.

Maybe whoever it is will have a good pair of scissors and they can just cut the frickin cord to his headset right before each game!

You're assuming he's relieved and wants to be back. He's probably thinking "aw shite" as much as the fans that wanted him run off. He can't quit or he'll forfeit his buyout. He was probably wanting the firing after everything leaked as much as anyone. I don't see how he's going to be refocused, re-energized, or genuinely positive at all. Next year will suck worse than anything that's ever sucked before.

He is who he is. It's not just offensive scheme/playcalling. It's lack of discipline (saw it again on Saturday), lack of attention to detail (execution), etc. He isn't going to change these things, we will be as good as our defense can take us and right now, that isn't looking promising after this year. No, holding a terrible A&M offense to 7 points doesn't change my opinion on that.

It's just a small minority of people that are bitching the most. And the people upset are the loudest as usual. And mostly post on the Rant. The ten of thousands of people at the game last week were united for LSU

The people bitching on The Rant are a poor indication on how most fans feel.

Sign Franks or Eason.
Sign a consistent punter.
Sign a kickoff man that can kick it out of the end zone consistently.
Sign as many massive. athletic, mean and nasty OL and DL as possible.
Maybe run the toss sweep WIDE every once in a while.
Throw to SET UP the run.

The fact people were openly speculating about his job for three weeks because of calculated leaks was a slap in the face to him.

If they wanted to make a change, they should have handled it the right way. Keep it quiet until you have something in stone, then do it quickly, cleanly and decisively. LSU fans on either side of the Miles issue could have found solace in that.
