So lucky to have him. Best all around guard we've had since the Pistol.

No sir, I said all around. Chris could score, that's it.

You crazy. Waters is really good and a freshman. Easy ghosts rider. Any human would take Chris Jackson over waters to build a team around. But I love waters but he is still potential as far as great??

But yeah, Waters is great. I'm glad he's short, or he'd be getting ready for the NBA draft starting tomorrow.

You, sir, are a dumbass.

Jackson averaged 3.6 assists per game at LSU and 1.7 steals. Not horrible, not great.

CJ could dribble his arse off through any kind of defense. He could really pass too, but he didn't pass that much (when you can shoot like he did, it's understandable).
Waters is a great player who has awesome driving and passing skills though and teams will be in a pickle next year when we have new players with offensive talent playing with Waters.

Tell my the name of the Cool Aid you been drinking sir are you delusional. CJ put Mississippi on the map as a state not even a close comparison.

If Waters could score 30 a game like CJ could he wouldn’t avg as many assists as he does. His 2 more assist per game doesn’t equal Jackson averaging 13 more points per game. Look at their FG% Jackson 47% Waters 42% 3point shooting Jackson 37% Waters 36% FT% Jackson 86% Waters 79%, there’s just no argument for Waters being better. Waters is great but he’s no Chris Jackson.

Can't we all just get along, and admit we've had some pretty special guards in the program's history, and that it is futile to try to compare players that are decades apart? Ah, didn't think so. CJ was the GOAT!

Chris Jackson was absolutely must see TV his freshman year. His mediocre NBA career and Shaq stealing his thunder while at LSU diminished his legacy a bit. But he was “jump off the screen” dynamic. Would’ve loved to see some of those early 90 LSU teams in person

Chris Jackson hd the best cross over dribble I have ever seen.
The 1990 game against UNLV at the PMAC was one I will never forget. He put the team on his back. There was one play where he drove the left side of the base line between Larry Johnson and another UNLV player elevated what seemed like a minute, tossed the ball underhanded with a spin off the backboard. Was one of the most unbelievable plays I have seen. Very Jordan like.
