Watched the video game spread offense ( aka Johnny football offense ) at work. Even ULL of all people are using it.

No matter what the crib about the LSU offense, I think Les is right not running this crap. This crap would never work in the top tier of the SEC.

That offense got A&M third place in the West, 5th overall in the SEC.

That aTm offense has been in place for one year, hasnt it? I am not looking forward to seeing it develop further.

That offense is one sprained ankle or concussion from mediocrity... Even if aTm has a decent backup they will likely take a step back from the level of JFF.

You mean that same Ull offense that took UF to the last 7 seconds of the game and they only lost b/c they got a lead and for some reason got conservative. Yep that offense wouldn't work against top tier sec defenses

That game sucked.

But (sounds weird) LSU has been in my heart since the Earthquake Game.

ECU gave me a diploma. But they kicked our fraternity off campus too.

It would hurt more if lsu lost to climpson more. 1-7-12 took years off my life.

LSU won't do crap until they get a playmaking QB. These qbs make things happen. Take a look at some of the La school qbs.

Terrible example of ULL offense being good. It wasnt like it was a track meet. The reason why it was close was because Florida's offense blew

And there it is right there. Those offenses require dynamic QBs(at least high school/college level), and as long as they have that, one great RB(or two good ones) and a decent defense then they could beat anybody.

I know people would say that this is true for anybody, but the object of these offense is to quickly put up points by using no huddle and plenty of option/misdirection plays). They are designed to wear defenses out and if they get a decent defense then they could win championships.

You mean the backup won't be as good as the Heisman Trophy winner?

you are mistaken. the spread has several different "versions" and a&m mostly uses the run and shoot version at times during games. johnny football makes THE VAST MAJORITY of his running yards when his receivers are covered.

Damn ... getting kicked off ECU's campus is actually kind of impressive.
