Great broadcast. I know several of you beat the "ESPN Hates us" drum and "Herbstreit hates us" but ESPN presented a wonderful broadcast.

It was more fun at TS Saturday night but those who watched it on TV had a great telecast.

Good job,ESPN.

It's BS. Herbie is one of the best, people just get pissed to easy when these guys speak the truth.

Herbie can say some stupid shite but when he's wrong he admits it, I think he's okay, was pleasantly surprised ay Fowler, he always strikes me as being about 2 IQ points shy of being a handball

I think there was a time when he was more of a lightning rod and threw opinions around, but he’s been pretty down the middle and just about what’s on the field for a while now. He was great and breaking down little details during the game.

Shoutout to the ESPN product crew, too. You know they are behind the good camera angles and going back and digging up previous plays for review. The A team does a fantastic job.

those guys aren't biased for anybody. They do games all over the country in different conferences. They're announcers and are paid handsomely.

They're not going to risk that with outright bias in their telecast.

Now, they may have opinions about which teams are overrated and underrated, but they don't have a bias for or against any particular university. And if they do, I'm sure they do their best to not let it show, since it may affect their career. No network wants a clearly biased announcer working their games.

except for never pointing out the consistent holdings by FL's oline and other nonsense by the refs, they were fine.

Herbstreit is first all Ohio State which is obviously understandable. After that I think he just likes great football.

The Tigers are finally playing great football again, so he is speaking highly of LSU.

The fact that JB grew up in Ohio and originally signed with Ohio State helps too.

Cue Gary Danielson and Verne Lundquist verbally jerking off Bama for the better part of a decade.

I wish cbs would get Todd Blackledge back and get him back together with Nessler. I always thought they were one of the best combos.

There is one of you in every crowd......

Technically, there is holding on every play of every level of football. It is kind of a function of blocking in modern football. The refs only really call holding on the egregious holds where the lineman is beat and proceeds to takedown the rusher by hooking or dragging them down.

Did they miss a few on Florida? Yep! Did they miss a few on LSU? Yep!

If refs threw a flag on every technical hold, game would last 5 or more hours for the constant stop/starts.

College football the refs let the athletes play. Lineman vs Rushers, and Receivers vs Defensive Backs.

they were all in on the "below the knee" call.
bad call by refs, bad call by announcers.
other than that Herbie doing good by LSU.

Absolutely. Nessler is a massive improvement over Verne’s last decade, but Danielson is annoying as hell. He absolutely does pick favorites and then rides the hell out of them.

Herbie on the replay: “That might be okay there.”
Fowler: “should we pad kind of on the right hip of the QB.”

Not sure “all in” is at all how I’d describe their reaction.

They cannot point out that sort of thing. Could cost them their job
