I was told as a child I couldn’t go till I understood what drunk people do at games and the language. I was 12 when I went to LSU ole miss in tiger stadium. Still remember the piles of liquor bottles and the 2 old men passed out. Oh and all the confederate flags in the locker room. If you don’t want your child ( I have one and one on the way) exposed to adult events don’t take them. Do you take your kids to Mars I grad parades on canal st? I remember when the entire stadium would say shite in unison after an int. I’m not advocating for saying it but let it go. F u Saban will be chanted for the Alabama game. Be ready

Oh the pearl clutching. It’s not that you are wrong, it’s that you think that the ENTIRE society isn’t hopelessly debased. America is trashy. Or as kids say trashy AF. You have to parent differently these days- and no vile comments at a game can come anywhere close to what they see daily on social media. The societal boundaries are not where you think they are.and these kids won’t be scarred for life if they hear “ suck a dick “. I mean I knew that by nine I’m sure . I can remember every kid said “ beat your meat “ and I heard it for like three years before I understood it. That’s life.

They're screaming "suck that tiger dick". I've been in some shady arse places doing some shady arse shite. Unless there was actually a tiger there with it's dick in someones mouth it would have been inappropriate to scream that out. Not because it was fundamentally offensive (it really is), but because it's stupid. Seriously, can't figure out how that ever even caught on.

The first pro football game I went to was a Jets-Pats game in the old Foxborough (to whatch Tommy Hodson hold a clipboard). The drunk Pats fans behind us kept shouting “O’brien’s a homo,” at the Jets QB. And, they were right. That dude was a homo.
