-Exciting for BK. 32nd year as a HC. Looking forward to playing a good FSU team.
-Process stays the same even with the game on Sunday, guys are off today. Tomorrow is Mental Monday since we play on Sunday.
-How we handle ourselves in the dome and not get distracted. FSU had their opener and been through their routine.
-Attitude Tuesday will be getting after it in practice. First padded. Focus during practice and prep work will be crucial.
-Shells on Thursday only practice an hour. Focus Friday is walkthrough. Situational football. First 20 of scripted plays.
-Sunday we will workout during the day in the Dome that morning. Not going to lock the guys up with a night game
-Familiar with FSU. Praise for Coach Norvell. They're a disciplined group now. Very talented players.
-Tough on the defensive line
-Jordan Travis a great QB. HE can keep plays alive. HE didn't have to do that Saturday.
-FSU rushing for 400 yards no matter who the competition is impressive
-Asked how ready the team is for the opener. Guys are ready and actively engaged in our process. I know y'all call that coach speak
-Everything we do has a reason even from checking their sleep patterns. Team has bought into the process of preparing themselves for this opener
-We have made a decision on QB but will not say it publicly
-No reason to give up any cards by naming a starter
-John Emery has done everything with the football standing. Can't comment on that.
-To stop Jordan Travis we have to stop their run game. He is very elusive so we need to contain him on the edge
-Malik Nabers will be good to go. Another recovery day for him. Tomorrow he will be in light routine work. Small able sprain
-We don't have to change the play calling for one QB or the other. 1A and 1B. Both will contribute this year.
-Ramos will start at FG and XP kicker
-Still in process of kick offs. It's very competitive. Decision next 24-48
-Playing FSU last year doesn't really help. Whole new operation for BK and his coordinators
-No film on the QB's is one reason to not name the starter
-Asked about neutral games. Each one needs to be looked at as a stand alone. NOLA because of fan base we need to play where we have a strong fan base.
-We can sell out those games. It's hard to pass up Tiger Stadium because what it can do for home field advantage but going to NOLA makes sense.
-Offensive line started and ended with the Center position. Everything after that fell into place. We feel really great about Dellenger. High praise for him after surgery and missing spring
-Likes his O-line. Gives us the best chance to win. 7-8 guys will play
-We will go deep at WR group. Jack is back and he will contribute a lot with his flexibility. We can move guys to get matchups. Lacy the field or the boundary.
-We have size at DT. The line isn't going to get blown off the ball.
-Nutrition, Strength & Condition, Facilities are 3 biggest things for BK that are important to be the best
-Overall health of team from injury stand point this has been a great camp
-Wasn't surprised watching FSU use two backs at the same time

BK is some cheesy coach. He gonna hold his cards for FSU.

I’m digging his candor.

Seems almost impossible that won't leak though, regarding the starting QB.

Do you think he might be sceert of FSU from last year? Honest question.

It's not an advantage to not name a starter in this situation. They will prepare for Daniels and if its Nuss they will still be prepared.

Seems like the smart move. Entitled fans will get pissy about this though.

Odd that CBK disagrees

Jesus Christ. This guy comes across as nothing short of brilliant. His attention to detail is incredible. My only concern is his appetite (or reluctance) for taking the occasional, unexpected risk.

Is it though? Most fans are assuming Daniels will start considering he has been getting majority of 1st team reps the past 2 weeks. FSU has the same info. I'm starting to get scared that we'll be using a 2 QB system.

Two backs at the same time

Why would they run two qbs with similar traits? If you start Daniels you don’t randomly bring nuss in . If Daniels is bad then they will pull him and see if nuss does better. He’s not gonna switch out every play or series.
Plus he said they already decided who the starter is
