Winning always has a way of keeping people in their seats longer and cheering louder.

It is a self fullfilling situation.

Why leave off the first part of the quote?

Can you not read properly? My question was not even related to CBK or even LSU for that matter

What I don’t understand is why leave early when we are notorious for come-backs?

A young Honkus once left the infamous Kevin Faulk- UofHouston comeback for the ages. Started high-tailing it back to El Cid as i heard the crowd roaring for each score. Made it just in time to hear the finish

Schools like Michigan, A&M, Tennessee ect. don’t have this excuse. They’ll still fill their stadium during a 6-6 season. Its a piss poor excuse. Fickle arse LSU fans. Tired of pretending we aren’t because it needs to change.

Death Valley is a big stadium next to a smaller PMAC arena. Neither are in New Orleans. He will coach a game in Death Valley after he coaches a game in the Superdome which is big city near smaller cities.

I thought you sounded like that idiot VP Harris so I kinda made it simple for you.

Has any coach (at any program or even the NFL) ever not been on the sidelines but up in the booth? Only one I recall was Freeze but he was recovering from surgery.

So he'll never coach a game in Death Valley?

Wasn’t he recovery from knee or leg surgery after a player rolled into him on the sideline?

This is to mean his first time coaching in Tiger Stadium will be as the Head Coach of LSU, not just a visiting coach.

All home games had a sparse crowd last year.

Yeah, it was embarrassing. I understand first half was due partially to dumb covid restrictions but after that there’s really no excuse. Hopefully we get back to normal this year.

The issue is contra flow. I have been to other major sporting events in Houston. Not a single time did it take nearly as long to leave as it does for lsu games. Mind you it’s in the middle of Houston, which is already overcrowded.

there are going to be plenty people in the stands for the Southern game. LSU may not have as high of a percentage of fans, but i don’t see that game being poorly attended

I hope the LSU faithful absolutely blow Tiger Stadium up when Brian Kelly takes the field for the first time.

We should play Neck for the opening kick

Tiger Stadium will be packed this year. People are excited and that will translate on Saturdays in Death Valley.

LSU is electric when they’re winning. 2018 Alabama was an insane atmosphere. So was every major home game in 2019. LSU won’t be electric when they’re not winning because it’s embarrassing and the standards are to where no one is dealing with the atrocious parking at Death Valley unless there’s a product worth viewing.
