Wasn't expecting greatness in 2024

I'm really optimistic about 2025. I think the best scenario is Nuss stays and Underwood gets a year to acclimate. Guillory is coming back and with the play of our DL this season, I'm pumped for their contribution next year with womack, mckinley, and Reliford coming into their own. I expect Campbell to leave, but Emory could stay and have a chance to increase his draft stock. The talent we have coming in at OL should keep us steady. Biggest take away is we are going to finally have some depth with the incoming 2025 class. Most all these kids will come in ready to play. Sorry for the sunshine pumping but just reflecting on where we are during the biweek.

If we hit the portal hard for OL, LB, safeties and WRs then 2025 could be special.

You will probably be disappointed. The 2025 schedule is brutal, it will take a GREAT team next year to go 10-2 or better

The schedule set up perfectly this year to make the playoffs. It will be a failure on CBK’s part if he fails to make the playoff in year 3 with the most favorable schedule LSU has had in a very long time.

It’s the same as thisnyear swapping Clemson for USC

on the road at Bama, Ole Miss, Ou and Vandy.

Could be worse.

I thinj Ole Miss is going to crater, this was an all in year for them NIL money wise and here they are.

OU could suck again,
I dont see Vandy being consistently good hit who knows.

Bama on the road is rough.

Greatness has zero to do with what happened last Saturday night. That was just a plain old collapse of epic proportions

I never expect greatness. I just want the team to be able to defend the RPO

Expecting greatness is why there are so many miserable tards on this site.

I want to see a team that is talented, disciplined and well-coached. That doesn't always equal greatness because you need to get lucky as well.

That's what makes it so cathartic when you actually get the "greatness" you ultimately want to see.

Bro this isn't 2007. Yall are delusional with this "Underwood can sit behind Nuss for a year" logic.

That's not how it works with a #1 Overall/Generational type player in the NIL era. Underwood can be a Season 1 starter at any program in America. He's not coming here to sit.

Underwood needs to step foot on campus as an LSU tiger first and foremost.

We lose a ton of starters with a rough schedule next year. 26 is the best bet at something. It will be another 3-4 loss season in 25

Well he’s right. LSU seems to constantly be in a rebuilding year. Championship caliber programs don’t continuously stay in a rebuilding phase.

Clemson disagrees they’ve been rebuilding since Trevor left

I wish I felt as good about oline as you. Nobody on second that is ready to be a starter right now. Going to need guys to grow up quick. I feel good about the defense. Wide receiver is the other big question for me.
