There's a case to be made for 02-05. I know I couldn't have truly appreciated the 2003 NC without fighting through the 31-0 Alabama beating in Tiger Stadium, or without watching Marcus Randall rack up 4 picks and a fumble in the 31-7 loss at Auburn.
Plus, on the positive side, Devery did make a pretty nice catch in Lexington that first year.
If you started in 06, you were probably already expecting championships.

I dont think you can include 2006 because we absolutely wasted the most talented football team we've ever had that year. However, 2006 was probably one of the greatest years for partying IMHO

I was a freshman in 2006 and graduated in 2010. Saw LSU and Saints championships while in undergrad. Now I've got 2 more years of LSU law school to see more!

I was a freshman in 58. Got drafted, wanted a career change and started back school in 03 and graduated in 07.

Secondly, I find it laughable that some would take a BCSNC over a Baseball championship.
Just when I thought you couldn't possibly say anything dumber than what you already posted in this thread....

My four years were pretty awesome. 01-04. I got to watch us rise to prominence with Saban, win an SEC championship my first year. Have a tough, but respectable 2002 season when we lost to big time programs: Alabama, Texas, Auburn, Arkansas and Virginia Tech. In 2003 I went to all of the home games, two road games and the National Championship. Then in 2004, watching us lose the Capital One Bowl in Saban's last game was shitty, but at least it was the end of the Saban era. Going 40-12 over four years was awesome when you compare it to just two seasons before I started school, in 1999 when we went 3-8, losing those 8 games in a row that year was is the most brutal LSU memory in my mind.

Some of my years sucked for football, but I could drink, from the spigot of a beer truck, on campus.
