I predict he will have a bad night tonight, but I still wish Bridgewater was here. He is the ideal college QB. Has the exact same body as Perrilloux.
RP was more athletic imo. Teddy more accurate.

The announcers comments were ignorant as all get out. They should stick to what they know, shitty Big East football.
I disagree. And I'm a Mettenberger supporter. I have been agreeing with what they said all season long as I've watched Bridgewater. I absolutely agree we'd be undefeated and in a better situation at this point.
I also recognize it's moot.. since it's a what could have been..

I agree I'm not comparing their game. People always think I am when I say that. I just think they look eerily identical in stature/build.

How was his comment ignorant?
They said LSU would be undefeated and ranked higher if we had signed Bridgewater. Way to make sweeping statements like that with no way to back it up. Talking heads...

It's an opinion.. and I agree that the perception would be much more favorable for LSU and a great possibility of being undefeated with him.
What's so awful about that? I'm not sure why people are offended by the statement. The guy is incredibly gifted, especially accuracy.. He was also freshman of the year.

Welp they just named dropped us again.
Said we told him we looked at him as an athlete after we got Mettenberger and ultimately chose Mett over him as a QB.
Mett really needs to step things up and quick. Slowly becoming laughing stock of CFB world at the QB position once again.

What good defense has he faced?

Ain't going against SEC D

Silent commitments=not commitments. I would never put any stake in "silent commits". There are rumors every year concerning silent commits and they are almost always just that, rumors.

Saying we wanted him at wr and charlie strong wanted him at qb, they also said bridgewater felt lsu wasnt committed to him
Went a little over board imo

To the folks saying this. Mett has faced many bad defenses so far and it hasn't mattered.
Bridgewater as a true freshman was better than Mett has been as a 4th year junior so far. That's a fact.
Bridgewater is just better, shite happens, we make mistakes. Mett still has a lot of room and time to improve though.

If TB would have come here he would either not look nearly as good b/c of comp or what ever happens to QBs here would have prob happened to him.
Nice run by Ralph!
