1) If they lose a couple games, we will criticize anything that is wrong needs to be fixed. That is why we are fans.
2) I think these coaches that come here realize this. They are not soft. They know there will be big expectations and they welcome it. It is what makes them successful coaches/people.

When has that ever not been the case? Fans will gripe and moan about their own mother if she was an ump. The current administration is into promoting ticket sales and energy for the program. See Lane Kiffin, transfer portal and Will Wade...

What you are saying isn’t necessarily false…however what you fail to realize is that it’s that same rabid mentality that creates the greatest sports atmospheres when the teams are succeeding. I don’t think it’s possible to have one without the other. Yes, we hate on our own harder than anyone but we love support, and cheer for our own harder than any other fan bases as well. And that is why coaches like Kiffin and Wade and Johnson and Mulkey want to be here.

Yes because it's pretty clear you don't go to LSU games. The ones who attend games generally are nothing like this. This forum is not a representation of the majority. I know this for fact just by personal experience going to LSU games in all sports. It might be true for some but definitely not the majority. 
You make it sound like LSU fans are not passionate or friendly in the slightest. Every fanbase is going to criticize if someone is not winning. LSU is generally just more passionate than most fanbases but the way you frame it here makes it sound like the majority is awful which is just not true.

Hey look, I reacted a little harsh. You should be able to post your feelings. And you're not an idiot. But full disclosure, this school is just like everybody else's. It's always going to be a "What Have You Done For Me Lately" situation. If people are barking at Yorke because of his hitting slump, you have to know when to separate legit criticism with spur-of-the-moment, passion posting.
For example, I once got the banhammer for a few days because in the LSU/FSU in-game thread a few years ago, I called Malik Nabors a "mouth breathing retard" after he literally muffed a punt for the second time in a game. Now - do I really think Malik Nabors is a mouth breathing retard? No. But when we're down a TD with 2:15 left in the game and about to get the ball back, and it gets turned into a TD for the 'Noles, I was a little mad.
(For the record, I apologized profusely for shite talking our own player. And look where Malik ended up. Unanimous All-American and Pro Bowl... what did my dumbass know?!)
