Did you and all of the people who downvoted his post really not look down at the next line of words to know he was being sarcastic? Do people not understand sarcasm, or do they just look for the first sign of a reason to disagree and stop reading?

LSU men’s basketball won’t be relevant again for a loooooong time.

While the women’s program is about to start winning championships with a coach full of passion.

Can you name a Wade recruit who has shown less than those guys, midway through the season.

Justice Williams was #55
Jarell Colbert was #138

Ward is #34
Phillips 127

I think Ward and Philips need more playing time and better coaching, but Williams and Colbert’s seasons last year a very comparable.

Enough with the Will Wade was perfect posts.

Justice was supposed to redshirt last season, he reclassified and was supposed to be in high school last year. Do you think he’s developed at ALL under this staff ? Has anyone improved their game this year ? Before Mwani was injured he wasn’t even getting much PT. He played a significant role the previous two seasons. Lack of player development is a serious concern with this staff.

Here's my issue on that. You have a guy who just quit the team and just being honest, when he has played has given us very little of value the last 12 games and he's playing in crunch time, meanwhile your top rated recruit who at least showed a flash or two in the recent limited minutes he has gotten does not see the court.

If this is a process and you are building for the future I can't see the sense in that. And I'm not ready to throw in the towel on CMM but that is baffling to me. I need an explanation, though I doubt he was even asked this post game.

As for Phillips I have seen him play enough where I don't think he helps us more than hurts us in a game like this, but again, if this is a process as CMM says and we're building to the future, play him then.

He asked if anyone could name a Wade recruit who has shown less than those guys and I did. They are very comparable. 5 star Efton Reid could also be named but he got way too much playing time so he had better averages. None of those guys improved during the season last year.

This years team has a ton of problems and obviously we aren’t getting better as the season progresses. But I can’t stand how people keep forgetting how poor a job Wade did last year and keep acting like everything was perfect. Bringing up Will Wade

LSU basketball needs to change just about everything they are doing right now if this program is going to be successful, but saying Will Wade wouldn’t have done this every time something bad happens just makes LSu fans look whiney and pathetic.

Wade made the NCAA tournament last year. McMahon may not sniff the CBI tournament, much less the NCAA or NIT.

McMahon did too. So did 66 other coaches. What’s your point? Wade also went 9-9 in the SEC after two straight top 10 recruiting classes.

His point is this motherflucker we HAVE RIGHT NOW doesn't belong at the big boy table. Do you honestly believe that a Wade who was brand new to LSU and had inherited what McMahon did this year wouldn't have us competing better than this horseshite we're watching now, AND have a few "dudes" lined up for next year? OF COURSE HE WOULD. Wade knows how to win at the top levels. It doesn't appear McMahon does. I pray that he learns how, and soon.

I mentioned it last year that McMahon would have been better off fielding a team out of the REC than what he brought here…either he’s a bum or the NCAA planted this fricker here to thoroughly destroy LSU basketball for good becuz I haven’t seen ANY difference in the way the team has played the last 7 fricking games.. he stands on the sidelines looking like he’s babysitting the playground at an elementary school.. MM’s future team(s) doesn’t look any brighter for next year and possibly the year after if LSU is still stupid enough to not can this guy…

I appreciate your bad language. It always adds to conversations.

Reminder: Wade went 18-15 his 1st season. We’re 12-9 right now and have a realistic shot at winning another 4-6 games with a much easier 2nd half of the schedule, so this difference isn’t that drastic.

I wish I had your positivity. Ole Miss and USC are probably our best shot at wins. they are as bad as LSU. I have a feeling LSU will lose the next 4

We’re horrible, but the remainder of or schedule is full of average to bad teams. South Carolina, Ole mIss , Georgia, Vandy are all bad teams. Miss St. plays up or down to their competition. Mizzou and Florida are ok teams but certainly nothing special. We already saw that when Florida came here.

That being said, we could easily lose out because I have no idea how motivated the players and coaches are right now.

This might be the dumbest thing I’ve read on here ever. Trying to be dramatic.

So, let me get this straight, a guy brings 3 players from a team that won 31 games with one of those being the first round game at the NCAA tournament LAST SEASON and one of those players being the player of the year in their conference in KJ Williams. You’re also saying mid-majors like Gonzaga or Dayton can’t play basketball where the big bad SEC ( ) who barely has decent basketball until the last few years of all that much better?

You’re also saying that Wilkinson and Miller were not worthy to play because??? Miller who would have STARTED for an LSU team LAST SEASON that was primed to win the conference if the injury bug didn’t hit but was still one of the best defensive teams EVER at LSU and made the tournament and could have made a deeper run had Woodward had the balls to wait to fire Wade.

Wilkinson who has shot >40% all three seasons at LSU from 3 and is a good defensive player.

The same coach who brought in a Top 20 class of freshman and other solid transfers.

It isn’t the talent level. There’s plenty of talent. It is about coaching for now in getting the talent to play together. Bringing in 3 guys that know his system should have helped tremendously but that hasn’t worked out due to whatever chemistry issues they are having in the locker room.

There are no “dogs” on this team that will get after you defensively and on the boards. That is the missing piece and consistent PG play.

Give the guy a chance he started with nothing if you expect anything more out of this year, you’re delusional
