I would rather develop homegrown talent than some transfer portal temp! LouisianA has as much talent as any state in the country! Used to be that LSU tried to put up a wall around the state! Not BK! Seems like he could care less about the great state of Louisiana! Guess I’ll start rooting and sending my money elsewhere! Selling my season tickets and leaving TAF!

That would not make sense either. Chandler Morris is already there and in line to be their starter next year. He’s only one year ahead of Howard.

Would laugh my arse off he had to sit again. Good player, spoiled brat.

I won't laugh if he sits. He likely could transfer and sit, but at least he won't be running scout team.

I'll be more upset if he starts for a major player in a couple of years and tears it up.

Pretty sickening if he already has a destination.

How is Chandler Morris better? At least it would be a competition. I think Howard is fine sitting if he's only 1 QB away. I'm genuinely not understanding what's so great about Morris that it couldn't be an open competition?

Morris was their starter at the beginning of the year after beating out a multi year starter in Duggan. He’s been in the system so he likely has a big advantage over Howard. I’d be surprised if Howard beats him out.

The qb competition wasn't a real competition last year so why would it be any different this spring. Good jailbreak qb scrambles again in 2023, but still only single read iso routes in a 15 yd box and fewer carries for the backs. At least this gets the news cycle to focus on something else besides ridin' coach on da playatrain. Good luck to WH.

No, it is not as he isn’t even remotely close to lighting anything up and being drafted

You people are daft

Hmmmmm. Wager? To be fair, I should tell you I have been close to family for 30 years.
But I'm positive, you know football

This board was delusional in thinking we were keeping all 3

I didn't think we would keep Nuss AND Howard, but I thought they would both be around to battle for QB1 after Daniels.

Billy Napier doing everything in his power to snag Howard right now since it looks like Rashada (2023 QB) isn’t going there anymore.

because Howard has an elite arm and is the best high school QB recruit LSU has pulled in years?
LMAO.. Howard might have been great in high school but this isn’t high school anymore.. there’s a BIG difference when you move up to the next level and just becuz you might have shined in high school doesn’t mean you will excel in college especially coming into the SEC conference, the BEST conference in college football…on the college level everyone is just as good or even BETTER than you, this coming from a former LSU head trainer..you can go from being “all PRO high school Qb” to “ Average Joe” from day 1 practice…I can understand the kid wants to start and play ASAP but there’s ALOT more to learn on the college level and the odds are sometimes like winning the lottery when it happens as a freshman…I never saw the “savior flash” in the few games he did play in and evidently neither did Kelly or the coaches.. unless he goes to a smaller school in another division of football or weaker conference he will still face competition which looks like he doesn’t want a part of here at LSU.. he was 3rd string @ LSU for a reason even if his dad wanted him redshirted his 1st year…too bad we as fans won’t get to see what kind of “ Savior QB” he might have become here at LSU.. good luck to him..
