Why is Jones in the doghouse and not starting instead of Pearson, who has done nothing. Same for Travinski - I get he isn't as good a catcher but we are talking Skenes here potentially.

Jones doesn’t play RF and Travinski’s was giving us a net negative in Omaha.

Because putting him in the lineup would mean moving Morgan off of 1B and into the OF. Or you put Jones in as DH instead of Beloso. Neither option is very appealing right now playing in a park where runs are at a premium.
