The Wade fanboys are the Wade haters. Nobody’s more obsessed with Will Wade than posters who bash him. These are miserable people looking for an outlet to place their vitriol. While most fans have moved on and care about LSU having success these people need Wade threads like a crackhead needs his fix.

What I don't understand are the fans who jump in threads to defend him. He deserves every ill word he gets.

You’re telling me with the players that would’ve stayed, a healthy Adam Miller, the class that we had coming in and the players we would’ve likely picked up in the portal, there’s just no way you can picture in your head that Wade couldn’t have brought us to the Final Four?

He made LSU basketball fun again and did things at LSU that hadn't been done in 30 years. Yeah it sucks that he got sloppy, but let's not pretend that it wasn't fun while it lasted.

A lot of fans are pissed because of the hypocrisy in college basketball but A. No amount of complaining will change that and B. No just because everyone else does it doesn’t mean Wade should’ve been retained. If landing elite recruits and taking the risks to get them brings this kind of trouble it’s a hard pass for me because you don’t need em to win. There are plenty of examples of good teams who win in March that don’t have elite prospects on the roster. Give me a good 3-4 year college basketball player over a prospect any day.

Except the opposite of what you posted is the actual truth. The projections and finishes have been posted here several times and debunked the statement you’re making.

Exactly. The guy cared so much about the program he was literally paying players out of his own pocket.
He had no help here in the beginning. That clearly changed after the Naz Reid class, that's why there was nothing in any report after that class.
The guy rebuilt what the two previous coaches managed to tear down. Just had to do it on his own to start and got too sloppy.
