Wade played this game the best a coach could.

He had the lead, the ball in his best players hands, with ten seconds left. If he makes the second free throw, LSU more likely than not wins the game.

That’s all the coach can do. The team fought hard. They got tougher today. Florida state hit a double bounce three. That doesn’t happen often.

You have to remember, FSU, made the elite 8 last year. They have 70%of their team back. LSU is going to be good.

We don’t take kindly to logic round here. Time to put for sale signs in Wade’s yard.

Wait, because of one play? Wade is fine, but he made a lot of decisions that hurt the team also. Namely sitting on the ball too long and changing to the zone, including on the last three pointer.

Careful Jon, some coaches are protected from criticism around here, while for offers the criticism is tacitly approved.

Had 4 empty bad possessions after going up 9. Got outscored 10-1 last 2 minutes. Tremont let him down starting offense way late and turning it over. Tremont needs to make Wade a better coach if it’s always going to be in his hands.

Wade had the players in position to win. Turnovers in like three possessions in a row ain't his fault.

LSU will definitely be much better.

I only watch LSU basketball. Otherwise, I don’t care for the sport, but that being said, it is so frustrating listening to announcers talk about stuff that occurs to “young” teams, and how valuable experience is.

STFU. You’re commentating on a sport that is not worth watching if half of the 10 participants are still on the team after ONE season.

And I’m ignorant about basketball, but when my 2 tallest players are chasing and jumping the same 3 pt shot, leaving my guard to rebound, and the opposing team gets 4 shots in one possession, something’s wrong. LOL

Man, I'm encouraged. We took this veteran athletic team to over time, should have won. Three freshmen, a transfer, and JC player playing ,most of the game. Made a lot of freshmen mistakes or the game would have been a ten point win.

I respectfully disagree to a degree.

Tremont Waters may have had his worst game as a tiger from a turnover standpoint today. His drives to the basket often led to turnovers and he wasn’t very effective against their bigger defenders. The reason we had a 9-point lead was because of jevonte smart’s playmaking abilities. We got the lead to 9 because of his ability to take the ball in the lane and shoot over defenders and also to make the right pass.

We came out of that timeout and immediately gave up an uncontested three on a simple ball screen at the top of the key. Then smart never got a chance to take the ball again. It was all tremont dribbling after that running the clock down before using two possessions up without getting a quality shot.

The turnovers and rebounds killed us. We shot almost 52% to their 38 and yet they got 25 more attempts because of those two things. We lost our aggressiveness and had the wrong guy running the game...for today. Just because Waters usually is the guy doesn’t mean he was the right choice down the stretch today.

That he did. But OT was horrible. Kinda don’t like the 3 guards. I think it stops Waters from getting it going early and finding a groove.

Most times we have no clue who the pg is and every time one of them gets it. It’s like the set starts all over again everyone has to get set. Then time is out. I say we go 2 guards put Taylor in sure up our rebounding. And get some movement with on offense and let Naz post up for once. Even days at 3 sometimes.

I agree. I didn’t like the playing conservative the last few minutes we didn’t take a good shot for 5 possessions trying to run clock but if you win it is a good call

Jon what is your record as a HC? Wade seems to be having a successful career. But if/when he decides to leave, send in your resume. I can't wait to win it all.

Gtfo with that logical, factual post. No place for that on here. Eaux's cousin said Wade sucks so that's that
