fair enough I am overly optimistic about the team I am a fan of.

this year I expect a national title. remember I said that. in football and baseball as well.

so you win, I am too optimistic as a fan, I like to imagine every season will be great. so on predictions of wins I will often overestimate.

but on the question we are discussing, I am right you repeated over and over that McMahon is a good recruiter. he isn't. he wasn't. you also claimed chest was mismanaged by mcmahon. the evidence does not support that.

You’re probably the most dishonest, most serpentine poster I’ve ever encountered.

Oh and BTW. Lie #23

I think the fundamental issue in our disagreement here is that you and other fans like to pretend you are far more sophisticated at X's and Os than you actually are.

you wanted to claim McMahon was bad on-court coaching, so you pretended the players were good. they were not. the reason coach MM lost was his players sucked. he didn't recruit and sign good players.

but you wanted to signal sophistication so you claimed you recognized on-court coaching deficiencies. you made an example of chest, you claimed you knew better than McMahon. but you are not at practice, you don't know anything. turns out chest went to ole miss and the exact same thing happened.

you want to keep repeating that you are smarter than coaches on actual in-game and roster management. but you aren't. so you would say over and over how McMahon had these great signing classes, top 15 or whatever. this way you could signal that you are so sophisticated you knew how to run offense better than he did. but you don't. he simply had bad players.

24 and 25, you were in summer threads ranting and raving over his recruits every year so you thought he was recruiting good players. Again you’re just a dishonest retard.

In that 2nd link, he said Sears should be a backup.

quote:

sure hope so. I am high on Curtis givens, he plays with future NBA players right now so he should be ready to really fight sears for that starting spot. ideally I would like to see sears back up givens and come in and make threes whilst givens rests.

First link, he was just wrong.

I’ll need more ammo than that

About Sears but he talks up Givens and says they’re both good. His claim is we had no good players and he said so which has already been proven false.

he also removed the first part of the sentence. I said "one more combo guard who can shoot and LSU will finish 5th in the league."

he removed the thing I said the winning was contingent on. very dishonest.

Idk, flimsy evidence so far. I’ll withhold judgement.

Just make sure he doesn’t read the entire thread so he can’t see this line of BS either. My god it must be stressful always lying, always trying to force everyone’s view through an impossible lens. No wonder you have so much trouble.

I still like givens. and I noted he was playing with future NBA players. man was he. his HS teammates were Cooper flagg and asa Newell and derik queen.

givens is a good player. he will have an excellent year with Ohio st this year. you should have made him your example of a good player McMahon lost, not Corey chest. givens is at ohio st and chest is with mcneese.

As usual your attempt at a point is irrelevant. I didn’t say what I thought about the player, it’s irrelevant. What’s relevant is you claiming and now confirming your claim that he is a good player which goes against your previous claims, proving your dishonesty.

It was stated that it could not get worse.

And I asked if you thought the worst tenure in program history could get worse by hiring the coach with the highest winning percentage in program history. But you didn’t answer.

You changed the subject. I don't have a comment on whether McMahon was the worst in program history, and I think Wade will eventually be better, but you missed the point I made. The point is that this season will be worse, unless we get more players eligible, and that was a response to someone saying it could not be worse. I'm not referring to long term success in future years. Do you believe that this season would be a disaster if we end up with only the current 4 plus walkons? Not asking if it is likely, but the reality is that is a reasonable possibility.

It's not a reasonable possibility though.

So your stance was that McMahon was a terrible recruiter, and lacked the talent to win?

But your stance was also, LSU will finish 5th in the SEC?

Can you break down this line of thinking for me?
