You can also add to the list that LSU'S SEC conference yearly payout will be anywhere between 5-10 times more per year than NC state's. In whatever BS conference they get relegated to in the near future.
LSU will be getting north of $100 million in yearly payouts from the SEC when the new TV contract is signed.
NC st will be in what conference then? At what piddly payout per year?
But hell, that wouldn't matter to a coach like Wade now, would it?

Matt Braeuer as SFA! I’m glad someone finnally mentioned this guy. People who big basketball guru’s are probably the only ones who know this guy cause he’s young and new on the scene but I promise you even the average fan is going to know his name real soon. We need to jump on this guy ASAP cause I’m promise you he will not be there long. For anyone who would like to know about this guy there is a YouTube out there called “Matt Braeuer building a powerhouse”. It’s worth the watch, first time I saw it I immediately got will Wade type vibes by the way he talked about what expectations and goals he has set for his team. Before ya judge or say something ignorant just watch the video plz, we need to start lobbying for him.

No idea if this would influence Wade’s decision but last year LSU athletic department tuned a profit of about 4 million while N.C. St. lost over 18 million .

It’s just another sign, you don’t stay at a place that is drowning.
Nc state is going to cutting some teams soon to stay afloat. Their conference is on the verge of collapse and they aren’t an attractive option to any conference.
Nc state is third fiddle at best in their state.

BINGO. And the rantards that post on here are wishing and hoping he doesn't come back. They fantasize about "muh baseball " getting the funding men's basketball does. Which will NEVER happen.
You feed the money makers first, then the minor sports fight over the scraps. The SEC (particularly Sankey), has also been putting pressure on member schools to invest heavier in basketball, and we started seeing results last year as a conference with that effort.
EVERYTHING is in place here (and lacking there), for him to return.
Time will tell.

NC STATES football program isn't very good so they choose to invest more time and money to basketball. LSU's driving engine is the football team so every other sport takes a slight back seat but there is no reason why our basketball team can't be competitively in the tournament every other year as Wade proved can be done
