Why comment on something of which you clearly have no understanding?

As a basketball official for 20+ years, I can tell you that a tech foul can be a VERY useful tool for a coach in so many different ways, regardless of the score. Good coaches seek them to turn a game upside down and/or to send a message to his team/fans. Not sure if that was the case with WW tonight.

Beat a clearly inferior team then acts like a chump and gets a technical.

If only LSU could still have the great Johnny Jones as a coach so people like you could still be happy with a shitty product.

Johnny had the team right there he just needed more time to get it turned around, but clearly had the program going in the right direction

My brother is an umpire and he had a coach go over and start screaming at him...and while doing so would ask much more quietly to toss him. Brother said that the coaches team wasn’t doing so hot and it was his last ditch effort to get them fired up. Coach told him after the game it was a shame that didn’t work either

I’m rewatching the game now. They just showed the replay...he really didn’t seem to do anything. I can only assume he said something to the referee he was walking near...?

You were clearly drunk during his last two seasons.

I missed it as well watching live. I saw him giving the refs a good arse chewing during the game and he never got t'd up. Probably just beat the refs down so much that they had enough. I imagine some "magic word" was said.

Frick it, Epps' reaction to the technical was awesome.

Young basketball version of Nick Saban.

Give him time and he'll get this thing going at a Championship level.

I'm a hard liner when it comes to Head Coaching standards at this level and I like everything I see from WW.

Peas better wrap him up or a school willing to spend more money will grab him from here.

Even though it's still very early in the "Process" you can just tell he has the "IT" factor. (Just like you could tell that Johnson and Jones didn't have IT)

But did you respect JJ for anything else?

You people bitching that Wade acted like a child are nuts. Players respond when a coach gets a technical for defending them.

I was sitting behind the Tiger bench. When the T was called Wade turned towards the assistants and gave them a big ??

I don't even recall JJ ever getting one.......even when the refs were calling a bad game against LSU.

He would use the old blinking stare with hands on hips to intimidate the officials.

Watching the replay. Wade thought it was out on them, but the ref called it out on us. As he ran by Wade said something to him, and that drew the tech.

You’re old and about to die soon anyway so you won’t need to watch.

Coach K gets technicals. Pop gets technicals
