Right he was punished because people in the athletic dept didn't like him and because he wasn't Woodward's guy (how's Woodward's guy doing BTW?). He wasn't punished for violating some NCAA rule because if he were he'd be being punished by the NCAA which isn't happening.

It’s not. It matters. Even professional leagues where owners have to pay players, teams get in trouble if they slip extra money under the table to avoid salary caps. It’s different if a player gets an endorsement.
Players have always gotten money, but it’s rarely ever if at all coming from the coach. Boosters do that shite

This is just an insane talking point.
Woody came in basically to try and save Wade.
There was never any chatter of these issues before he was fired.
He got fired like 5 days after we got a NOA where Wade was named in 5 Level 1 violations.
But it’s an EGO thing.

1. This isn’t what I wanted. As a coach I loved Will Wade and defended him to basically the day the NOA dropped
2. If you want to out your head in the sand fine. 2 weeks ago some guy said he wasn’t getting a show cause and that the hearing would be at the end of LAST week. Here we are. Wade’s goose is cooked.
