Click on the OP's post history. It's pretty clear why he would start this thread, and title it in the way he did.

I see what you mean. LOL Lots of negativity. But, he is a Air Traffic Control Specialist, so we know his brain is fried.

I think the only real trouble Wade could get into would be Perjury. I imagine all transfers were in cash.

I believe 100% that this is what is at the heart of the matter.

I have zero inside information, anything I post is simply conjecture on my part.

I seriously doubt Wade will lie under oath in a federal courthouse, to protect others from NCAA sanctions. I think there are powerful people out there, terrified of the answer to "who was providing money for these players". I think Wade was willing to fall on the sword for the NCAA, as his career could recover down the road if he played ball. But he's not going to perjure himself in federal court.

I speculated on this, just connecting dots, and my post got deleted. Tells me all I need to know.

First, there is/was no probe of LSU basketball. There is a bad guy on trial, who happened to suck WW in to his trap. The defense called him to the stand to try to prove that coaches are conducting business with the scum bag willingly. In reality, if you want a top player, you actually have no other alternative.

Don't think the FBI wants to get in the business of prosecuting college coaches for providing improper benefits.

Other than the four that have already been charged?

Your own logic says that Wade likely doesn't have much to worry about.

Facts

1)The FBI has had the recorded conversations and texts from wiretaps for close to two years.

2)The Feds have not charged Wade or any head coach with a crime.

3)The Feds have charged assistant coaches with crimes.

Potential Reasons:

1)For some reason they don't want to go after head coaches. Either prosecutorial discretion, because it would cause too much backlash, or because they don't think their fraud theory would work. The head coach is too close to representing the university, and thus instead of being victims the university, via the HC, is a willing participant.

2)They don't have the evidence. The transcripts that have been leaked, edited transcripts I might add, are all that exist and it's not enough for proof beyond a reasonable doubt that the offers were impermissible.

These four were charged with bribery related to shoe companies paying players. There is difference in that and what has gone on for decades.
