If the award is based on voting at that link, it is an unjust conclusion because people can vote more than once (I voted at least a dozen times). To be reliable and valid, and to give each of the three an equal chance, each person should have only one vote, or the decision should be made by some other method. The conclusion, at this point, is dishonest. If I received the award based on the voting method used in the link, I would not ever feel my earning it had any credibility. Hopefully someone will see this as a fault in the voting process and weigh out the final vote using some other method.
the fan vote is about .5% of the entire thing. Even if Nola got 90% of the votes it doesn't mean he wins.
I think AJ Reed will run away with this. He has impressive pitching stats, and some of the best hitting stats in the country.

So, if the "other" categories count 99.5%, the voting on that website is like a drop of water in a gallon container and doesn't mean didly-squat. Why waste our time? I guess this is one of those "fun" sites that someone has contrived (like many other things at "Alice's Restaurant") that are on the shelf that people buy and break down after a short time. It would be better to "redeem the time" and do something more constructive. (And yeah--I gor suckered in as well by this Lantern Fish).

I guess the fan vote may sway some voters but this year Nola could get all of the fan vote and AJ Reed would probably still win it.

I agree.
While I would like to see Nola win it (and I've voted for him about 100 times), Reed deserves it more, IMO.
