really?
What about Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Ndomakong(frick it) Suh, or Eric Berry?
Peterson is amazing, but that is a hell of a statement.
Of all of those guys, PP has the biggest ceiling in the NFL.
Bush and Young were great college players but have limited NFL ability. Peterson has the chance to be an elite NFL corner.

PP is going to own this kid this weekend.

The only way this Hot Shot will expose PP will be if he pulls his pants down.

I thought he was playing safety in nfl?
He is. Eric Berry left when he was a junior, Jones is a senior this season.

, Eric Berry doesn't hold a candle to PP

+1 put it on the board, pump the team up

Eric Berry was a hell of a player, but he is a safety, not a corner.
Besides, is this cat Jones even the Vols #1?

Gerald Jones got injured in the third quarter of the opener and hasn't played since. He will be our #1 recievier saturday and he will run alot of wildcat as well.

eric berry was as legit as any db in the SEC the past several decades. pp is right there with him though.

He has a better chance getting away with robbing a gas station with his UT gear on than going up against PP7

PP calls yard on a throw MEANT for Jones. Maybe more than once on Saturday.

excue my tiger friend for not knowing he was involved with any of the vols discipline issues. hard to keep track of that shite.

Jones looks very mediocre in terms of stats.
Peterson's stats are very impressive.
Looks like Jones runs a 4.47 and Peterson runs a 4.3 (various internet sources).
Conclusion: Jones apparently isn't the sharpest crayon in the box....

This guy went up against Eric Berry everyday in practice for three years, do you honestly think hes scared on Peterson. If you do your tripping.
you don't have to be scared to get your arse-whipped

Um... I'm pretty sure i didn't say he was.. I'm just saying that he has a better chance at getting away with robbing one if he decided to than go up against Peterson.. I know there's not much schooling up there I understand

Peterson reminds me of Darrell Revis and Eric Berry reminds me on Ed Reed.

With all the great receivers in the SEC, Jones is an afterthought.
Considering the hype surrounding this guy coming in, he has been a disappointment.
It doesn't matter if Jones is scared or not. He will be shut down like AJ Green and Julio Jones. Why? Because he just isn't that good.
