thats the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

he's in the field about 20 minutes for about 50 games a season. The END of the games when it's nearly always past dusk at that.

stop being an idiot. he was obviously joking, plus hair gets lighter from sunlight exposure. it was funny, now move on

I also believe in the give Lee a chance proposition. Booing just sucks

completely agree, my point exactly
I'm not saying we should "baby" him and tell him he's doing a good job, because he's not. Everyone realizes that. I'm saying that booing him isn't going to make him play better and that even if he plays awfully his best effort shouldn't be booed. If his best effort is that bad then the coaches are to blame for leaving out on the field, but I can't imagine Jefferson isn't doing his best to prove tiger nation wrong. I think he's just not a good QB yet, maybe hell improve but he's definitely not there yet.

And justifying booing by saying other schools do it also is just dumb, how bad would you tear Jefferson a new arsehole if in an interview he said "C'mon man, plenty of schools suck at throwin the ball, it must be acceptable." If you expect the best from him, then give the program your best and support this team. I agree that hes doing poorly, all I'm saying is booing him just disheartens the team and can only hurt his confidence and our chances of winning. Miles isn't going to sub him out because you boo, so Jefferson will just have more adversity to deal with and it won't bode well for our season.
What I am too afraid to say? The only thing I'm afraid to do is rip this post as much as I want to purely because I don't want to be seen as following in your ignorant footsteps. You defend the seniors by saying they deserve better than Jefferson's performances, which is the one redeeming quality of your post.

But you condone booing the 20 year old who I guarantee works as hard as any one of those seniors? Jefferson doesn't enjoy all the negative press he's getting and I'd bet my arse he's doing all he can to get better. Now he's definitely not getting the job done yet but will booing him and shattering any confidence he has left help him improve as a quarterback and as a leader? Hell no.

It's the coaches' job to play the quarterback that will put LSU in the best position to win, and if you feel that Lee is the guy then take it up with the coaches. But booing any player for their performance is classless, pathetic, and means you don't know how to truly "care" about this team. So feel free to dismount that "high horse" of yours that makes you feel like you're speaking on behalf of all the fans. Check out Mike Linebacker's post if you wanna see how you should've handled your frustration.
