It’s no secret Woodward does not mind overpaying for coaches. I’m still on the fence and haven’t bought all of the hype about AD Woodward.

Do you personally pay for the coaches? Didn’t think so. Fans worrying about coaching salaries always crack me up.

PM read Ell’s discussions on TD and started basing his lineups on El Niño.

Just about to come post this. That’s a hell of a coaching staff by Woodward.

Schlossnagle Took the job yesterday, no point in talking about Vitello anymore

I still think is Sullivan or OConnor from Virginia.

Vitello will have it made at Tenn. he ain’t leaving.

Schlossnagle would be the only guy that I prob wouldn’t want. His major success was from Vitellos recruiting. But if Schlossnagle brings sarloos with him I’d be down.

There are three pretty safe picks. Sullivan and OConnor are both really safe and will do wonders at LSU. Vitello I think has a lot of upside. No one can beat him in recruiting.

Vitello would have been an upgrade from Paul for sure.

But there are other good candidates out there.

I hope Woodward makes a wise choice.

All the names mentioned as possible hires will be an improvement over Paul.

I think it’s Bakich from Michigan.

Assistant at vandy for 6 years.

Head coach at Maryland for 2 and has turned Michigan into a national contender. And only 43 years old.

That’s my guy.

All I know is, Woody has a deal in his back pocket. We just fired an OL coach, and hired one literally the next day. It's not his style to get strung around.

I've heard O'Sullivan. This Bianco smoke is probably blowing in from Oxford. I think Godwin is a realistic, A+ fallback option if Sully changes his mind.

Whatever happens we will have a very good baseball coach.

It’s not sully. His off field issues cost him the job. Move on to next name in line.

He doesn't have the chest to coach at a place like LSU. That's why he is staying at Tennessee where they don't really care if they win or lose in baseball
