When was the last time ANYONE has seen BRPD or any law inforcement Agency having Breaking news conferences on a bar fight? The fact that the responding officer arrived and basically did nothing should tell you how BRPD handles 100% of all bar fights in the city.....Why should this one be any different? Also funny that the Captain America is the only one pressing charges....Nothing has been mentioned about the other Shady 3 pressing charges....

I'm not even going to argue with you, because you and everyone else here damn well knows NO ONE is suggesting they have any information that attests to Jordan Jefferson's innocence. What those of us who have felt the need to defend the guy have been saying from the beginning, is that since none of us know jack shite, it MAY be prudent to simply sit down, shut the frick up, and wait until we actually know something before rendering a verdict on a kid we all ought to have a bit of a vested interest in, what with him being a Tiger and all. Hence the presumption of innocence, not the declaration of it.
On the other hand, you've had people openly calling for Jefferson's hard since day one based on even LESS info than we have now.
You seem to be a big fan of proof...what proof do we have Jefferson is guilty?

But i choose to not really form a opinion of his guilt or innocence until we are allowed to know what all the evidence is. Then ill be able to form a reasonable decision. So as for as im concerned both JJ's are innocent until proven guilty.

And you are correct. What amazes me though is the presumption that the evidence for public consumption is the sole body of evidence. Maybe it is, and if so, I will be the first person in line to congratulate the exoneration of the man. I didnt want it to happen. I think it couldnt have happenned at a worst time for our team.
But I personally think it is ignorant to pass some of the large sweeping judgments of the BRPD and the quality of evidence when we don't have a clue what they actually have. We are just going to assume 'they did a horrible job' or 'arrested an innocent man'. Again, I will be the first to slam them if they went this far off of what is for public consumption at this time.

It may be true that some posters think this.
However, one doesn't have to invoke conspiracy theories to suggest that JJ could have been wrongly arrested. Have you never seen examples where police were lazy, incompetent, misled, overzealous, or simply mistaken?
I don't know if any of those are true in this case, but I think one would be mistaken to think that any or all of these are beyond the realm of possibility.

We don't have any proof. We are assuming the BRPD must have some or they wouldn't have made the arrests. I'm taking Lowery's statements as what happened since JJ's lawyer is agreeing with them. The question now is was JJ involved or not. Maybe Lowery and Long just recognized him, but didn't realize he was in the crowd trying to help break things up.

In fact I bet if you could you would make up testimony just so you could come back on here and say I TOLD YOU SO!!!!111! HE WAS INNOCENT! What is your stake in this? Why are you so adamant about his innocence and the pushing of blatant disregard for all societal laws. Is it okay for everyone to break the law or only certain people? Like I said I don't see you defending Johns. Are only black people allowed to break the law, but whites are subjected to punishment?
