And when you lack any evidence suggesting that Jefferson did in fact kick Lowery, it makes for an awfully hard case to prove.

If they have no other evidence and the video was their main lynchpin then you would be correct. In actuality, what this will do is likely result in more investigation into the third person (the kicker in dark) is. All JJ and JJ have to do is rat that person out.

Actually my statement is accurate. I said its not likely that they would have received results, but the test itself only takes a few hours

Just to ask. Do you know if the establishment was forthcoming? Do you know if they were willing to cooperate when called upon?
You can't force the establishment to cooperate immediately.

Agreed, my point was if they want this resolved quickly, they could easily use that as a bargaining chip.
