Only 2 catches by TE today. I think 3 balls were caught by RBs mostly on wheel routes or flares out the backfield. Most WR production was from Drake Davis until he left with an ankle injury. Dee Anderson and Jonathan Giles both had good days. Moss is looking good and provides a big target and good hands. Racy McGrath had way too many drops. At least 4 that I can think of today and went the wrong way on more than 1 route. Moreau had a drop but is usually very dependable. I can’t remember if Sullivan had a catch or not. I don’t think so. Can’t wait for Terrace to be 100% and for Chase to get here..

An interesting comment:

We’re running the same plays, but once we find out who our quarterback is going to be, we’ll figure out what our offense can be. We have certain things we’re going to do with both quarterbacks.
It's interesting because it doesn't make any sense.
What's interesting is that Dan Mullen said almost the same thing during Florida's scrimmage today. And not 1 Florida fan will question him. You so called fans are not.

Seems like they're just making it up as they go along.
So you mean that they are doing it right. Until they decide on the starter the offense will be molded around his skill set. Why is that difficult to understand. I another coach who I won't name said the same thing, you guys would be gloating like little school girls. I am sorry I said that, little school girls have better sense than most of you.

How are you not banned yet?
Only because this board has a whole bunch of posters like you that suck.
If there were a lot more of the great posters like myself and a few others I would probably be shown the road.

I like how you have that backward to confuse the sort of simpleton that would support you anyway. You are nowhere near the average Tiger fan, but I'll give you credit for effort.

Only 14 receptions and 43 yards attributed to individual players though, and only receivers. No receiving stats for TEs or RBs.
Only thing I saw for the TE's:
"Orgeron also credited backup tight end Thaddeus Moss with a strong showing, turning in two big catches in the passing game."

If they can make him a weapon, especially over the middle, that will be huge for moving the ball on 3rd down and also in the redzone.

I don't care what offense LSU installs, I just want to see them consistently utilize the middle of the field on more than skinny posts.

Obviously, you tailor the offense to a QB's strengths within the offensive system you run. This is "lets see who runs the spread better, who runs the West Coast better and then we will pick which one is better". All of which is irrelevant if the lineman aren't quick enough for the spread or the receivers can't run the short/intermediate routes the West Coast demands.

Who would you believe if they were talking about dark matter?
an astrophysicists or a fast food worker?

When it comes to dark matter, I only trust the team at S.T.A.R. Labs.

Now that you mention it, I was just wondering why my elbow hurts.

Then it seems like they should declare a starter ASAP so they can install the appropriate offense sooner.
