very little chatter about special teams... but they may play a big factor in winning/losing games this season!

If this turns into the defensive battle a lot of us expect, special teams could be the difference. I have heard nothing about our punter.

Agree if it’s a tight field position game like I think the difference between victory or defeat

Tracy and Atkins (lol Trace Adkins) will both be big improvements in the kicking game I believe.

Hopefully our punting is solid.

Special teams always play a crucial part in big games.

We'll know early about Tracy. He's guaranteed to have at least a couple of important FGs against Miami, given their defense.

I imagine we'll do some alternating of punters based on field position. They'll be fine.

I'm anxious to see how our kickoff specialist does.

The return game is always fun with our athletes when they get in space.

Our coverage needs to be on point against Miami. They have some home run hitters.

Edwards-Helaire and D.Dillon are listed as the primary return men. Really would like to see us be able to score on some KRs or PRs this season. Took for granted all of the years we had guys like P.Peterson in 2010, OBJ during his time, T.Holliday, C.Jones, D.Davis, etc.

It's best to be optimistic. Apparently the new kick off guy has a monster leg and will generate touchbacks. Tracy Cole should be a step up in FG accuracy.

With our athletes and better, ore focused coaching the coverage teams should be improved.

I've always wondered about why CEH as return guy. It would seem that an athletic speed burner is what you want for an explosive return game.

The exciting part about Atkins is he was also a DB lighting people up. I can't wait to see the first hit.

I hope he never has to make a first hit - if he does, either he didn't get a touchback or the coverage failed.

Bringing in a st coach and a place kicker had to help.
Providing the D is as good as advertised ST will be huge. Add in a little pass protection on offense and everything else should fall into place.
