Last night was such a must win
We were obviously never winning today. We’ve been horrible in Game 3s dating back to even last year.

4 of our last 5 pitchers (minus a 4 hitter stint from Hurd) have been LHP all throwing similar velocity (91/92--Herring can sit 93/94--from a similar arm slot, with a similar shape and velocity off-speed. Literally all but 4 hitters since Holman came out in the 6th on Thursday. That's not great, Bob. Herring works because, well, he's the best of the bunch, but also because he's following Holman and gives a completely different look. They've seen the same guy basically for 13 of the last 14 innings.
Throw Loer in there, too. Though he didn't pitch to many hitters (what, 1 or 2--I left the room while he was in there). It's a huge disadvantage the farther we get into the weekend. Coleman is at a huge disadvantage today because they've all basically seen him the last game and a half.
I'm gonna keep quoting this. This is a real thing, guys.

So. For someone that already has a trip to Hoover booked and paid for, what is there to do?

Coleman experiment needs to end.

I’m scared this one could get ugly
We burned all our good pitching in close games. This one is unlikely to be close unless we got hot at the plate

5 straight SEC series losses. That is going to be tough to swallow no matter who they played.

LSU is trying hard to ruin another weekend for me

We are gonna be down to 2 pitchers and 2 position guys by the end of the year

Posted on 4/6/24 at 2:24 pm to LSUBALLER
If we're going to frick off, get the freshman out there to get them some experience in league play for next year, because this year is toast

Coleman to never see the field at LSU again.
He got rocked in Omaha last year and hasn’t looked good since. He probably needs to play elsewhere next year.

How can he be so good then so bad. I am thinking it’s the calling of the game. Just my opinion

Pissing me off that I care so much but it is what it is. How does Jay allow our pitches to keep throwing 2 strike meatballs? I’ve never seen a staff do shite like that. It’s almost like our pitchers are throwing the game.

Guys , might get ugly. Game and season. We need something good to happen for this team.

Went from no lefties a few years ago to too many average lefties.

Coleman has struggled since returning from the injury

Is there even a path to 10 sec wins?
