Might be time to accept the fact Coleman isn’t the same guy that pitched so well in that Oregon regional a few years ago

4 of our last 5 pitchers (minus a 4 hitter stint from Hurd) have been LHP all throwing similar velocity (91/92--Herring can sit 93/94--from a similar arm slot, with a similar shape and velocity off-speed. Literally all but 4 hitters since Holman came out in the 6th on Thursday. That's not great, Bob. Herring works because, well, he's the best of the bunch, but also because he's following Holman and gives a completely different look. They've seen the same guy basically for 13 of the last 14 innings.

Herring should honestly be a #2 or #3 starter but our bullpen is so bad that we need him in high leverage situations in order to try to get one game in a series.

I feel like Coleman has only thrown 2 bad pitches but they capitalized on them. Frustrating and sort of a microcosm of the bulk of the SEC games so far.
