lol.. man, look at the title of my thread.. SIX WINS

six wins = bowl eligible

going to a bowl doesnt mean squat. UW isnt as good as some of you make them out to be

again, trying to make yourselves feel better about our ugly arse game

saban, you are aware they have an outstanding coaching staff with a QB who almost beat USC with less talent......their LB crew is VERY good as well, as is their All-Star DE.

maybe you aren't as good at evaluating a college football team.

I know a helluva lot more about evaluating college talent/performances than you and you are dead wrong about UW.

I already said this a couple of days ago:

They will have 5 losses. Us, USC, Oregon State, Cal, and one of the Arizona teams or stanford.

If you think they dont beat Oregon, you're high.

Stanford could win
Notre Dame win(overrated ND)
Arizona should win
Arizona State could win
Oregon could win (just lost to Boise)
UCLA could win
Oregon State should win
Washington State could win
California
loss

I count 8 or 9 possible wins.

Me too and I'm honestly not just trying to legitimize the close game Saturday.

Last year was not a winless quality team. Locker and Polk were out a good part of the year and the rest of the guys played pretty uninspired for Willingham.

Yea, you're right, going to a bowl just sucks.

Nothing like that, its about knowing a little bit about football. UW has a decent team. Really good or great? No, but probably good enough to go to a bowl.

Why do you have such a fricking hard-on for putting the team down?

You're foolish if you say UW isn't a good team. Unfortunately, they probably played their best game against us, due to the fact that we had no clue of what they were going to do on defense or offense. I bet on them being a top 25 team. I can't wait to see what Lou Holtz says after they beat ND, and that's the first/last time I'll look forward to him speaking

Let me take a crack at this.

There's no way they beat Notre Dame? Is that you, Beano?

Wins:
Stanford
Notre Dame
Arizona
ASU
Oregon
Washington State
Idaho

Losses
USC
UCLA
Oregon State
California

I say 7-5.

Play Missouri in Holiday Bowl.

If they play the way they did against LSU, i think they could win 6, maybe 7, I havent been reading here the last 2 days, but ive had time to think about saturday nights game, 1st game of season, 9:30 pm, 2600 miles away, that might take its toll on a Pro Team, let alone college kids, im not making excuses for our team, but i feel my expectations were way out of whack for this 1. Im gonna take the wait and see attitude

Still don't think they're going to beat USC? Every post by the rantards bringing up 0-12 record by Washington from LAST year seems pretty irrelevant now.
