if its the same STUBBORN %^$&ing playcalling that we've seen to date, i can almost guarantee you we will not score more than 14 points.
will this be the weekend we FINALLY see the real wild tiger?
Posted by sabans ovaries on 9/30/09 at 3:29 pm
hiking to Russel Shepard and him running isnt the wildcat offense.
also, id kind of like to see him throw once or twice..

...in total defense. which to me is especially impressive if you consider the very high number of plays they have had.

re: will the refs treat Tebow differently if he plays?.....

"why would he be treated differently"?
because refs are fricking stupid, thats why.
im not sure if there is such a thing as coaching etiquette when it comes to talking to refs before a game - but Miles needs to make it clear that if Tebow is playing then he shouldnt be given any handicap treatment.

wow, nova scotia. i'd LOVE to travel there some time.
will the refs treat Tebow differently if he plays?.....
Posted by sabans ovaries on 9/29/09 at 9:09 pm
i can just see it now - we get a CLEAN hit on him and get flagged over and over for unsportsmanlike penalties - because the refs are worried about his freaking head.
im going to throw my neighbors cat into my tv set if that happens

didnt rachel date Tom Selleck in a few of them? I think Tom Selleck played an ophthalmologist or something. awesome and random.

i always new he wasnt a good writer - in terms of a highly cerebral pedantic tome that will be discussed in literature courses.
but neither was Michael Crichton, James Patterson, john grisham, tom clancy, et al.
rather - the stories are just entertaining.

i lived in DC for 3 years. I love the place and I am fascinated by it all.
But the story sucked. just my humble opinion
i agree that Angels Demons > Da Vincii >>> Lost Symbol
the one not enough people talk about though, that would probably make a great movie, is the one about the ancient stuff in the polar ice caps. book before angels and demons. it was pretty good.

Im one of the people that thought Angels and Demons as well as DaVinci Code was pretty enjoyable read. Not academic or non-fiction - just enjoyable.
His new book, "the lost symbol" is truly horrible - in multiple ways.
The storyline is very fuzzy and tries to draw from entirely too many things - things that never really come together. Or when they do come together, it is contrived as hell.
My understanding is that Opie will once again make a movie and Tom Hanks will once again play Robert Langdon. Geez.. its going to suck bad.
i cant believe Dan Brown spent 6 years for THIS

man i like miles alot as a person. i think he is genuinely a superb guy. but god damn he is really pissing me off as a coach.
at this point, if there was a ranking of coaches, im not sure he would crack the top 25.

re: Les Miles hilarious 1st 30 secs of today's press conference:
Posted by sabans ovaries on 9/28/09 at 9:42 pm to Cadello
everything Miles ever says starts with "i can tell you..."
when his kids come home he probably says "i can tell you that you will need to do your home work. I can tell you that when you are done, you will eat dinner."
when he see's his wife he probably says "i can tell you i love you."
Honestly, i think it is worst than "in terms of"

some of you are fools
people aren't wanting Shep to get touches just for the sake of him getting touches.
they want him to get touches because, to date, he has shown he can do more than anyone else running the ball.

re: Respect for SEC?? Ole Miss drops to 21?
Posted by sabans ovaries on 9/28/09 at 12:09 am to TigerintheNO
i agree it was probably too far. they were too high at #5 or whatever, but they overcompensated by putting them at 21.
gotta admit though - it would be challenging to rank #4-25 right now.
