I know applying the transitive property is a tricky game when it comes to team sports...
That being said, Utah State gave Wake Forest their best of the year by far, and put up by far the most points of any of their opponents.
WF is 5-0 and beat UNC more handily than the #1 team in the country — so I’m not saying the aggies are a great team... but they’re a respectable enough opponent (especially offensively) to warrant putting real stock into a positive (LSU) defensive outing.
Obviously, UF will tell you much more... but in terms of what to watch for next week — it’s something.
A far cry from NW state or GaSo, and maybe even from Vandy.

U St is a dangerous team, but a great warmup for what is to come. They play faster then we do & Love can flat throw the football, 68% with a rating of 139. If the D doesn’t step up, could be another shootout.

Agreed. Love is no joke. I fully expect LSU to win, but I think it should be interesting to watch defensively.
Also get to see Sullivan back at WR for the first time in this offense.

Utah State is a good football team. If the game on Saturday is close, or heaven forbid Utah State *gasp* wins (not that inconceivable), then is would be wise to reevaluate LSU's prospects for the difficult forthcoming stretch of conference games.
Really I've been concerned with the play of the defense lately. The Utah State game is a fork in the road for Aranda.
