then I moved to MS. All of their fans act the exact same. It’s crazy, they all think they are the best thing that’s ever happened.
They acted holier than thou when Kiffin came to LSU. As if they would stay loyal to their job when a rival company with more assets was offering a pay raise.
I will never root for them again. Don’t care who they play

I’ve lived in North MS for 26 years and I loathe that fanbase. I’ve always disliked Ole Myth, but I truly despise that delusional bunch after living around them. They get extremely quiet when we win and I just avoid them and want nothing to do with 99.9% of them. But when they win, every one of them, even the ones I know and don’t say shite to when we beat them, are in my face about how much better they are as a program.
Even with the recent success, none of them were alive the last time Ole Myth won a title. And that school still won’t have one when they’re all in the ground, either. They may not like being reminded of it, but they are what they are.

I have never seen anything like them. Not even Bama fans.
This past year has been eye opening. They are by far my least liked fan base now.

I’m from Memphis and still support my other Tigers, but that’s different. They have never played LSU in football and rarely in other sports. You couldn’t pay me enough to cheer for Ole Myth.

I don’t respect their bandwagon fans, but real ones can talk. Especially those who lived through the DuBose years until Saban. Their team has the wins to back it up, years ago and recently under Saban.

Feel the exact same way as the OP. Moved to MS about 27 years ago and never thought much of OM. OM fans are fake AF, white supremacists to the core and completely delusional. Worst part for me is that both of my kids were brainwashed LSU but both went to OM. Some parents adopt the school where their kids go but no way on that. Hate going to Oxford.

Married to one and in laws are exactly as you are describing. All their friends in the grove are just like them. They all tho k highly of themselves and their teams. It’s hard to explain. Like a cult almost.

Never hated Ole Miss until I moved to south MS. Their fans are borderline mental. It is like they invented fire and no one gave them credit for it.
