Lol. The acc is about as garbage as the big 12. In all honesty it should be Ohio St, Michigan, Georgia, and LSU if we beat UGA and LSU, if you looking at best 4 teams.

Not sure why people don’t see the writing on the wall. USC will drop one of the next two if not both. It’s the PAC 12 thing to do.

Regardless of how good the next two weeks play out for us my 91 year old “gut” feeling is the committee will baulk at placing for the first time a team with two losses in the country’s top 4, even a would be well deserving LSU.

If one SEC team gets into the playoff would it be a one loss UGA team or a two loss SEC champion LSU team???? This scenario might play out.

The defending champion UGA would get in over us. Take off your homer glasses.

I understand where you're coming from. However, I think that if TCU and USC both lose a game, and LSU wins out, that the committee won't see any justification to leave LSU out.

We were the first team to play for (and win) a national championship with 2 losses back in '07. It just played out in such a way that there really wasn't an argument to be made against us. And if it plays out this time the way I mentioned, I think the committee will take the 4 best teams, regardless of what precedent it sets. If a 2-loss team could make it in the top 2 of the BCS era, there is bound to be a 2-loss team in the top 4 of the playoff era at some point.

I think a one loss ACC champion Clemson team will pass a SEC champion LSU team.

You’re either high or stupid, no I’m between on this one.

How is that??

Ole Miss lost to a team LSU also played, and beat. One of the 2 teams would lose that game.

I don’t get it. They were below LSU last week, both teams won this week, and the only thing that’s changed is that Tennessee lost.

How does a Tennessee loss suddenly make USC better than LSU?

The loser of a CG has never made the playoffs unless the winner did as well.
