They may change/remove some other things as well (videos/announcements, pregame activities, etc.) to make it more neutral, since USCe is the official home team. After kickoff though, it should feel like any other home game.

Was the full band planning on making the trip this week, and , if so, were they scheduled to perform at halftime? If not, USC might bring their full band and do their halftime show.

Not sure if they were supposed to perform at halftime, but I think the full band already went to MSU, so it would probably have been a smaller band in Columbia. If USCe brings their band to BR, I would be fine with them performing.

Well gee. As long as you are OK with it

There have been many many games where both bands perform at half time. It's not a big deal.

My point was more to the fact that LSU's band might not have a full performance in place for this week, so may see more from USC than you would normally have from the visiting team band.

My b. I thought they stayed in Gonzales to be away from distractions for some reason...

Before LC was built, I believe Dinardo had them stay out at the Holiday Inn Gonzales.

Pretty much all teams stay in a hotel the night before a home game. I stayed in the players dorm in Ben Hill Griffin for a UF game and wondered why it was necessary. After going out with the UF players post game I understand completely.

For some reason, LSU has been telling the traveling schools not to bring their full bands.

Hell, Auburn came with their full band, they weren't allowed to play at halftime. After Tiger Band was done, there was nothing happening for the remaining 10 minutes.

Joe alleva finally found somebody he can have control over. The band directors.

If it's in BR, the band will play the EW&F show last week for the alumni game but facing the east. It's too short notice to whip up a new show and it's already fresh in our memory.

I guess they could change the time of the game because it's an emergency situation, but seems like they'd try to keep it at 11am

OK, I'm know I'm like 'bout 40 pages behind, but...

What IF Alleva is actually having/finding the balls to play passive-aggressive hard-ball and say "Look guys, we hope you work it out and that you find someplace else to play at 11 am, but if it doesn't work out we can do it here ...at 6:00 PM - just let me know..."
