Yes, it's amazing how O and Ensminger were able to have this amazing offense in the 6 wins but it was Miles fault we got shut out by Bama

They were fed up with Miles because he couldn't develop a QB, didn't know when or how to call a TO, and lost to Bama the last 5 years with the same crappy offense he kept promising to change.

Which coach would have been a better hire than Orgeron?

The shorter list is who wouldn't have been a better hire.

I will concede that Larry Coker would've been a worse hire than Coach O.

Curly Hallman also would have been a worse hire, but I agree with you on your list statement.

honest question....

wouldn't you guys have rathered us give Aranda the job over O?
we couldve made a lsu lifer out of him and we would know that our defense would be good throughout his tenure.

It's still the best chance to get LSU back to the top of college football. I hope O wins an NC this year, replaces Belechik in NE and Aranda takes the headspot.

Seems to be common trait of the CheeriOs...tard up threads with constant insults while proclaiming they are the rational, knowledgeable football fans.

Is there a HC in college football who had a worse record in their career than what O had?

John Blake is the closest I can think of, but even he never had a winless season in conference.

Ellis Johnson went 0-12 at Southern Miss in 2012, his only year as a D-I head coach. Hard to top that.

I forgot about that. I think he won a few games at Citadel though...brought them to Tiger Stadium to kick off the 2002 season.

Jon Embree might be a better answer than Blake for a guy who lasted more than one season. Was also a career position coach like Blake and CEO before he got a HC job.

5-6 at Gardner Webb
12-22 at Citadel
0-12 at So. Miss

Grand total of 17-40. Yikes.

Really strange hire by So. Miss. He hadn't been a head coach in 9 years, and when he was, he was only 12-22 at the Citadel.

Fedora went 12-2 the year before Johnson went 0-12. I don't know how to do that research, but that's got to be near the very top of the worst coaching W/L differentials in history.
