probably for the same reason that people use, "douche canoe" and think it's funny or clever - idiocy.

He mentioned the Florida Gator 08 team because they had a top 10 offense and defense
Team that lost to unranked Ole Miss

All these so-called experts are entitled their subjective, unsupportable opinions.
What they can't do is provide objective evidence for another team being better.
I would argue that, just as an arbitrary line at roughly the first Super Bowl, over the past 50 years and change, in no particular order:
Nebraska 1971 - won their game of the century that season
USC 1972 - CRUSHED a very good tOSU team in the Rose Bowl 42-17
Oklahoma 1974 - Switzer's first title, undefeated (that team finished off a run of 20-0-1 over 2 seasons)
Pitt 1976 - CRUSHED #11 Notre Dame to set the tone for their season - a non-blueblood team with a blueblood season - Johnny Majors' "resume" year to get the job at Tennessee.
Nebraska 1995 - scored 50-60 points per game, including an impressive run of 300+ points over their last 6 games which included #8 Kansas State, @ #7 Colorado, @ #10 Kansas and then finally a performance that was beyond dominating in the BCS game (Fiesta Bowl) over a yet another Spurrier-coached Gator squad, 62-24. While we all remember Spurrier's offenses, this was a better defensive squad holding 7 teams to 10 points or under, including SEC-W "champ" from that year, Arkansas (
, 34-3).
Miami 2001 - frankly, this is the only one on the list I think is even close (along with 1995 Nebraska).
And yet - none of them can claim having beaten all the teams we beat this year from both an accomplishment of our team and an accomplishment of all the teams we defeated.

Urban Meyer is jealous of a former rival’s off the charts success?
Truly shocked.

I’ll never understand why, after witnessing the season we just did, anyone should care in the least what Meyer, Herbstreit, or anyone else has to say about it

I'll never understand why people come here to complain about every single person that doesn't absolutely sing the highest of high praises to LSU,
And then claims he’s not mad Meyer didn’t name LSU but because he did have one of his own teams ahead of 2019 LSU

Dude is a shite stain that has constant scandals and uses “health issues” to cover them up.
I don't understand why he don't get more shite than he does for all the problems that went on at the schools he coached at. And every time he felt pressure he made an excuse to leave.
I can't stand to hear his smug arse even talk.
