from what im hearing...the 1 year suspension didnt go over well between les and the badger, both sides were "butt hurt" after words were exchanged. cooler heads are trying to prevail at this point

Oh, so it was the one thing I missed yesterday.
It's all good, I was just curious.

That must be why there were two cops reported in the building prior to the press conference. Hopefully, nothing got too out of control.

For the record, I only suggested it because of the way it was worded

That's a major assumption.

i would bet les and tm7 met the day the media wasn't allowed at practice and thats when words were exchanged on this whole thing.
things didn't get better friday so they announced he was gone instead of just out a year.
of course this is all speculation

Didn't you report yesterday this would not happen because of TM's family not wanting it to? Specifically a certain member(s) of his family?

So, from everything I'm reading, it looks like it was indeed the 3rd failure (which, by policy, would result in a 1yr suspension) and things just got heated in that conversation and resulted in the "permanently ineligible" decision...?
(as opposed to it being the 4th failure and automatic "permanent ineligibility" which raises the question of what ever happenned to the 3rd failure)

i didnt say it wouldnt happen, but there are so many people trying to chime in and give advice out of the woodworks now...a lot of it being money driven. this is not immediate family but still family. if it doesnt happen i wouldnt say its specifically because of a family member

Very plausible

Whatever happens, I hope it's in his best interest long term.
He only gets one shot to do to this right..
I'm sure his immediate family is giving him good advice.

Just another instance showing that he thinks he is above the rules.
