Seriously, that is what Bayless said. I guess he doesn't know the difference in corner and slot. And said that Simon could take his place not knowing that Simon is already the other corner.

let us adults remember these young men are kids... the amount of trouble my college friends and I managed to get into, and/ or barely avoided, bordered the ridiculous.
I was way worse in my time at LSU and never got into any trouble, of course I didn't have 140k twitter followers

so we know as much as we did this morning and will likely have to wait until Wednesday before anything is offical.
Yippie.

if he is allowed back, a deletion of twitter should be his first step in the right direction

Yeah since when is anything ever hush hush around LSU. Seriously Reporters just need to drop by TDr to get the breaking news. Although not in this instance. The rant knows all

I wonder if there's any possibility (assuming he does all the things required of him by Miles/LSU) that the suspension is lifted earlier than one year?
I'm not saying I'm necessarily "hoping" for that, just wondering if it's theoretically possible?
Would LSU receive any bad press if we lifted the suspension on Nov. 2nd?

With Miles, no. With Saban, we never would have heard about any of this.
ETA: I think the 1 year thing is part of the team/school rules though.

quote:I never understood this line of reasoning. Lots of kids are staying up past midnight, too. But if the team has a curfew, you fricking obey it. It's that simple. Nobody should give a shite in the least how many other students are doing it. I mean hell, practically every other student in the world is not working out on a regular basis; does that mean it's okay for the players to not work out?
Yup, and a lot of the people on here casting judgment are probably unaware that their own kids are doing the same shite at parties and stuff.
Of course not. Tyrann (and many other young people, players and otherwise) need to learn that not all situations are equal, and worrying about what other people can do/are doing is a great way to frick up what you need to be doing to take care of your own business.

If the decision is enirely Les's like it's believed to be, I would say yeah, it's possible but highly unlikely.

If it is from ESPN guaranteed bad press.
I think LSU should take their lumps, on the football field, if they let him sit a year.
Like I said before, It goes a long way with me that a major university would want to help a kid in their athletics program get straight, when he has given so much to them, LSU.

I'll put my college shenanigans up against the Honey Badger's any day. Booze, drugs, arrests. I never kicked a guy in the head though. Honey Badger could have done more for this team by kicking JJ in the head last January. Surely would have been allowed to come back and start after his suspension.
