Lol

I can’t be the only person capable of talking up all the qbs, can I? I mean, I’m not some super positive fan and I’m not more capable with my vocabulary than many.

But I feel like I’m the only one who makes a case for every qb starting .

Is there more of me or naw?

So if, for instance, it’s the 4th quarter and we’re down 4 against Mississippi State or tied against Mizzou and definitely need to score, you are saying Brennan is your dude? You feel very confident that Brennan would perform well in key 4th quarter drives against, hypothetically, Mississippi State and Missouri?

Who would you venture to guess was the qb that kept up with mizzou and state in those shootouts? Did myles just sub in for the 4 plays at the goal line or no?

I honestly forgot?

It couldn’t have been myles throwing those td passes, he couldn’t convert a 3rd down.

There's more of you. Theres also a certain nicotine addict that is blindsided with Brennan hate making it seem like the fans are more divided than they are.

I love how the Rant has completely redefined 3rd down %. It’s gone from a team stat to the Rant trying to convince people that there’s never been a running play on a third down. You can watch the first drive or two of the Vandy game and see us fail to convert 3rd and short with the run then convert a pass on 4th to keep the drive alive but in the Rants world that’s a negative on Brennan. This kind of situation happened a few times in the Mizzu game as well but in all their “context” driven dismissal of his numbers they’re too lazy to look at the actual context or details.

Pretty dumb ignoring that he played 4 games one season

Not as dumb as your stupid arse
He couldn't even light it up in the Pac12. He threw 10 interceptions last year and only 10 TDs.

This thread is literally about who would perform in a must-score scenario near the end of a game. “Which QB would be best at performing in the clutch at the end of the game” is the entire premise of the question.

If the question was “which QB would you want to play most of the game and put up ok stats but then be replaced in crunch time because he sucks at finishing” then maybe your boy would be the best choice.

Down multiple scores and the defense knows you have to pass? I don’t think I want a statue in the pocket.

I said it a few days ago. I think Daniels will likely be the starter and Nuss #2. But if we are down a lot it sure would be nice to have Myles available in the bullpen to come out firing.

Just watch the game tape from Daniels frosh year. YouTube has the full games. He should be a little better than what you see in his freshman year. He’s got better weapons around him and he will be coached up instead of regressing. They played Utah and Oregon who had good defenses.

Just go by that eye test and not no context stats . I mean he barely had a season in 2020 and no weapons last year.

He is in his 4th year JD I'm saying.
He is what he is at this point.
We trying to change his footwork and his accuracy.
You think we the only ones who have tried that in 3 years?

Daniel's threw for 6000 yards as a 3 year starter in other words he averaged 2000 per season. That is not good, why do you people thank that he is an SEC QB?

The dude had one year with good coaching/talent around him and it all went down hill after. He was running a potato offense with potato WRs.

Arizona State also only played 4 games in 2020 so he only had 700 passing yards that year. Really brings down that average.

So if Daniels was so shitty, why would he transfer to a much tougher conference? Answer me that one?

People complaining about Max Johnson 27 TD 6 INT last year

When JAYDEN best year was 17 TD 2 INT.

Jayden has started 29 games with 32 TD passes
Basically a touch over 1 TD per game.
I keep telling people he is run first but let these idiots see for themselves

No, speculating is predicting LSU’s season. I’m going by what others who attended are saying. All seem to agree who’s currently leading at QB. Looks like Nuss has serious competition.

Because the program he is transferring too the head coach likes a mobile QB.

Nothing at all wrong with that so don't think that.
Our current roster isn't built for that.

In a vacuum, probably not. However he had a tremendous freshman year and obviously has talent. I trust the guy the guy who has been to multiple college football playoffs with with less than amazing talent To put the best guy in a position to succeed
