Waiting for some of the other whispers to come to life and what he is running from.

Maybe during this month we will hear more about the federal fraud and admissions relationships/nepotism he allowed…

LSU needs another Mark Emmert type: The academics of Michigan with the culture of Louisiana.

One of Landry's political good ole boys will be more likely to take athletics seriously than some egghead resulting from a national search.
I am sorry to see Tate go.

I have the best intel that’s available. And Mr. Johnny was on board with Mel too.

My statement is based on very good intel from someone very close to them. Plus, it fits with Tate’s and Temples hit piece in the WaPo on CBK. Have you read it? Collis gave CBK a C- if I recall correctly.

Zephyrius LSU admissions went to shite under Tate. Tate/ LSU has done zero keeping Louisiana's best in state.

Dr. Tate far exceeded my expectations. He was the right person for the role at the right time.

Part of the game plan of MAGA governors is to give resume-building jobs to out-of-state people that the MAGA elite want to see climb. The question is whether Landry resists the temptation to steer the selection to one of his deep-pocket buds or does what MAGA instructs him to do. In the latter case we can expect a young conservative currently at a private university who is very supportive of the Trump agenda.

Tate had zero to do with CBK’s relative success. In fact, he tried to submarine him along with Collis Temple via the WaPo hit piece, so effectively CBK’s success was achieved despite Tate’s negative action(s) toward him.

Fair enough. No, I haven’t read the article. Just don’t recall any confirmation of the rumor.

Right… especially when they call and tell students to switch to test optional to then be admitted…but thought you couldn’t do that.

This is a joke right?

No this has everything to do with leadership in admissions profiling certain populations for the federal grant money that they get off it which went into Tate’s pocket. The amount of in-state students who wait months for their decisions to never come or get a denial when they 100% should be admitted… dive deeper into that.

You registered this account almost 2 years ago but all 6 of your posts have come in this thread and the OT thread. There’s nothing wrong with that kind of post history but you’re making some serious allegations and that’s kinda weird.

Or maybe this is the first post to be relevant to me… And I’ve waited two years for it to come to light. This is the safest place I’ll find to speak towards what I’ve seen. Buckle up buddy it’s all about to come out. Just wait

Tate was terrible. DEI hires at LSU law school and LSU- S. LSU med school in Shreveport supported DEI admissions with students with lower qualifications.

Big loss: Hoping we can stay the course with the new President. And he was a huge sports supporter. Let the hunting begin.....

No this is pretty much true… but sadly the retention numbers are fudged so no one really knows what is going on. I speak from experience and worked directly in it so all truths here.
